I called and asked how much it would be to install a catalytic converter system that I ordered from Magnaflow for my Lincoln LS. They said $100-$120 over the phone. I also had two new O2 sensors so they didn't have to pull the old ones out. I get there and they want $400 just to put them in because "its a total different ball game with a dual cat system". How is it a different ball game? Yea you have 4 bolts instead of two, they thought I was an idiot.
I immediately called Lentz on Riverview Dr. in Kalamazoo (just down a few miles) they said $50-$100 over the phone. And guess what they stuck to the price they gave me. Honest group of guys down at Lentz. I was so pleased I bought all of them breakfast, and still saved a bunch of money.
