I wish I had know about your site before I plunked down big $$$ at Bernard Haldane Associates in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

My story is like the others I have read. Hefty fee, lofty/misleading promises, unscrupulous/lying "senior consultants", outdated career management information/techniques, using my situation against me and preying upon my emotions. I could go on but I think if you read the other stories you'll see a common theme.

In my case, I had met with the supposed senior consultant "Greg Molnar" who laid on the sales pitch. He was quite heavy handed, abrasive and totally misrepresented the service their company provides. He was evasive, rude and heavy handed when I started asking detailed questions about the actual process and their hidden job market.

I did bring my wife back for the second meeting and against my gut instinct signed the deal. That's when the nightmare began! Unreturned calls and outright avoidance from Greg once I signed on. He explicitly stated I could call him "any time" with any questions I had - yeah right! The career advisor was even worse. Outdated techniques, missed appointments and unwilling to work with my existing work schedule. What happened to all the promises about working with me and being there to work for the "client".

Bottom line is they're unable to produce the results promised and certainly don't have the resources they claim. You're better off saving your money and seeking out resources elsewhere through local agencies or other more credible/reputable firms.

I'm still waiting to hear back on my requested refund. When I finally did get a hold of Greg he said he'd look into it. This was 2 weeks ago and still no response.

Again, I wish I had known about this site before I signed up. Save your dollars everyone.
