Bernard Haldane Associates BH ripoff has not lived up to their promise of providing contacts to assist in my job search Princeton New Jersey

I entered into a contract with Bernard Haldane Assoc. back in August 2003 to assist in my job search process. In retrospect, I feel very foolish about getting trapped in this situation. Normally, I am very cautious before deciding to undertake a major investment such as this (over $7K) but I wanted to believe their story and was so looking for support in my job search that I made the mistake of doing business with them.

I met with Mr. Alan Lesser during my first 2 meetings. He specifically indicated to me that BHA knows many more people in the corporate world than I could ever know on my own as a result of their 50+ years of existence, and since my main motivation was to quickly build my network as I had worked for a single company for 20 years and had a limited external contacts, I decided to move forward with BHA.

What a HUGE mistake! Having been a client now for over 6 months, to date I have not gotten a single lead from them. This despite Mr. Lesser indicating on several occasions during our initial meetings that the average time it takes to place a Haldane client is roughly 14 weeks from the time a contract is signed.

To date, what I have gotten from BHA for my $7K+ is a resume (which I am not convinced is all that powerful) and guidance to ask people I already know for leads/contacts. I was planning to do this independent of signing up with BHA, but they specifically told me that with the vast experience of their counselors and having been in the career management field for so long, that they would be able to connect me many people to build my network and assist me in finding a good job.

This has been the furthest thing from the truth. I consider myself a person of integrity, and it infuriates me that this injustice has been done to me and several hundred other people as well. I am also a person of deep determination, and I will stop at nothing to get a full refund from this company to right the wrong that has been done to me. For others who are on the fence about signing up with BHA, please do not make this mistake. I'm sure there are more legitimate sources to turn to in helping you with your job search.
