OK, thanks (and sympathy) to all those who are in the unfortunate situation of having first-hand knowledge about the dishonest (and unlawful) tactics imposed by BHA.

I say unlawful because actualy in Canada an agency cannot charge an individual: the agency fees should be from the employer.

CAN ANYONE CLAIM THIS TO BE ABSOLUTELY TRUE??? I only read it somewhere.

Anyway, I have just been to my first interview with MARK O'HARA, senior VP, owner, founder, committed proffessional, dedicated to my development, best friend etc etc and after returning from the complete sales pitch (I thought is was about my career?) decided to do some research, as I often do when asked to part with CAD$4500. This, in my situation, seems justified; see below.

So after reading all the scams here on badbusinessbureau.com, all the signals leant me to the inevitable:

Why do they have a temporary office location???? (Is there BAY location still functioning - 15th May 2003)

Why no computer on his desk with respects to the type of servie they offer?

Why would a Senior VP interview a 26year old 'young proffessional' when the're marketed towards the high-end CEO types?

Why was the recptionist responding to incoming calls using a different business name?

Why 'redirective' queries regarding my financial situation?

Lastly, my situation is I've recently arrived in Canada with the necessity of finding work. My problem is sponsership - something (I know now) he CANNOT help ot assist with, so why the assurances?

Interseting. Needless to say, my girlfriend won't be taking time out to accompany me to the next interview, ..er.. beefing. (Although it would be interesting, she'd come down on him with a ton of bricks!!)
