By the way - Sterling Hightower is actually Sarah Hightower and she lives in AZ. They do not send out your resume to other recruiters, but simply "makes it available to them" - see the NY Post article of January 4, 2002 for confirmation of this fact.
Lots of people wonder how BHA comes up with the fee schedule - well it's easy - follow the math here: If I was making $50,000 per year when I went to Haldane, then they will say I should be making at least $60,000 (a 20% raise). My fee then would be about $5400 - about 8% of what they say I sould be making. It's a simple formula done by the salesman - not by any team or other nonsense they might tell you. the only variables are severance packages, savings or retirement acounts, etc. in other words - your net worth.
They might ask you if you know what your work is worth - if you don't the salary goal is inflated beyond real range. Make sure you know - it's necessary information anyway. And go to the same website Haldane does - www.salary.com
