Bernard Haldane Associates are searching on job web sites for potential victims. They pose themselves as a recruiting firm with strong links to the local companies. They promise access to a huge hidden job market and to land in a professional job in around three months. But after they take their enormous fees (in most cases around $5000), you don't even get answer to emails or phone calls. And most people feel ashamed to disclose their mistake.
If this company contacts you, safely reply to them that you are not interested to fall in their trap. Make sure to tell them that you are aware of their unethical practices. And if it is Steven D. Fisher, tell him that he is a well know thief.

I wanted you to know that BHA has always misrepresented itself. They lead people to beleive they will find them a job and then they charge them according to their income for exsactly the same service. Someone might be charged $2400 and another $6000. They both receive the same service. BHA has small claims court cases against them all the time and they always just settle out of court. They are also ver unethical regarding employment of their own staff. I urge people to be aware!!! You may find a job because of their counselling service, but then again...you may not. No refunds.

Not too long ago, Haldane managed to get all the complaints against its company completely removed from both Yahoo and AOL. When I tried to find out why, both entities told me that it was none of my business.
Okay, they are right, I suppose. So, I will speculate since it such a big secret.
I figure that Haldane sent them a legal injunction requesting both removal of the posts and the identities of the posters. And Yahoo and AOL did what Haldane asked without a whimper.
If you posted at either site, Yahoo or AOL, Haldane now knows who you are and will come after you! I expect to see a huge increase in these resolved updates for that reason in the case of those that posted their complaints in multiple forums.
What leads me to this conclusion? Because Haldane has attempted to do that here at Rip-off Report.com! When the information was not turned over, Bernard Haldane sued this forum.

Joe, your complaint is the same as many others so I feel that it was valid when written. You were not getting any results, you felt that you had been scammed, and that Haldane lied to you and could never produce all those wonderful job leads it had promised. And you felt that a refund was not in the offing.

I truly hope you get your money back, I really do. The odds are not that great that you will, though. They lied to you once, they will lie to you again. They are not fixing things, they are merely hiding them so the next group of victims will think they are clean. (Unless they come here to badbusinessbureau.com to do their research)
The question in my mind now is: are these complaints REALLY being addressed and are people REALLY getting refunds, or is this just another tactic by Haldane to terrorize people and cover up their dirt? How will we ever know for sure?
Bernard Haldane seems more interested in cleaning the slate so it can continue the scam with unsuspecting consumers than it is in changing its practices.
Guess we will have to wait for the AGs to report back to us.

UPDATE: I was finally contacted by Bernard Haldane Associates to discuss the issues presented in my report. I will update this board with the final results. In the mean time, let me apologize for the strong wording I use in my original report against Mr. Fischer and the company as a whole.
