Best Buy Geek Squad = Useless! First trip: Dominic (jerk!!!!) said " we won't take your computer under warranty until you have recover disc." Then warranty will replace the harddrive and they'll reinstall windows. Told all files were lost. Went home and recovered ALL files by myself. Trip 2: Takes the computer saying they'll reinstall when harddrive is fixed. 2 weeks
later tonight, pick up computer "policy says we won't reinstall" - said he wouldn't take computer in beginning because we might need serial number for recover disc but they will NOT reinstall. I asked him his name and he waved me off and I demanded his name. I call store manager Chad (AWESOME manager) - said i'm not even close to the first complaint
on Dominic, this rude person. Policy IS to reinstall. Start reinstall at home and decided to check: they put a 350gb hd in the computer, i gave it to them with a 750gb. NIGHTMARE service! Chad is trying to get an override to fix computer in store with proper harddrive, but might have to send if off again for 2 weeks for THEIR mistake. How do you put a wrong harddrive in. Mind you the second trip where they took the computer, the guy that took it was excellent. First and last trip with
Dominic was a nightmare! Tonight he stared at us waiting for 30 minutes with no one at the counter while unboxing TV's and such. Came over and said, "what do you guys need?" Um excuse me...what do I need??? How about "hi how may I assist you? This guy does NOT deserve to work for Best Buy Geek Squad. I don't wish anyone fired, but if you dig the
hole, there's many that want that job and will provide the service that should be....he is not even a mediocre Geek Squad. Rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable service by Dominic and Dominic alone, well and the people that put the wrong harddrive in also. This is the nightmare that just won't end when I need my laptop running.
