We needed a TV for our new house and did some serious shopping and looking. After several stores later, a sales manager named Troy at Best Buy in Dublin, CA showed us the least expensive TV the had in the type we were looking for. We talked to several other sales reps who all agreed that this we the best price for a flat screen TV they had. So we purchased the TV from Best Buy on 11/5/06.
When we got it home we realized that it was a monitor and not a TV. We took it back to the store and after 3 hours of haggling and explaining our story to their managers we finally exchanged it for an actual TV.
When we got it home and turned it on it did not work. We brought it back to the store and the manager said because it was a floor model he refused to exchange it and instead kept the TV and threw us out. When I called the consumer complaint desk at Best Buy, Jill Nedworski said it is not their problem and we would need to consider it a lesson learned. They have our money and refuse to refund us and have our TV and refuse to fix it or replace it. We are out $1,500.00.

The Bravo tuner plus an HD Monitor would get you where you want to go.
As a plus, the Bravo-1 offers upconverting to HD thru its AUX input. I use that feature to watch VCR tapes in HD.
