at its best!

I never won a contest in my life. I was so excited when i received a text message that I won a contest, only to find out its a rip off.

The text message stated, "your entry last month has WON! Got to blah blah blah email and enter your winning code 2119 to claim your FREE $1000 Best Buy gift card within 24hrs.

I know I went shopping last month at Best Buy, but never entered any contest. Not nice Best Buy.

Geez!

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (USA)

Do you believe every unsolicited text that pops up on your phone.  Do you really believe that Best Buy would send you a text about a fake contest?  Or, would it be more likely that the person trying to scam you just wrote that the message was from Best Buy.

By the way, this reply to your message is from your friends at the CIA. You didn't win anything, but we do monitor all of your phone calls and text messages on a daily basis.
