This is a warning to other families, this Best Drug Rahab center is a rip off and scam. See the above web site link about the owner Per Wickstrom, also known as Stone Hawk. This facility was previousky called Cedars Drug Rehab, now known as Best Drug Rehab, Manistee, Mi. My mother spent her entire retirement and was told by the intervention specialists this was a  good facility, how far from the truth this was! My hope is this spares other families in this same situation! My mother won't get a dime back, but maybe someone else will see this and not get taken like she was. The facility is filthy, has mold problems, bed bugs, drugs in the facility, clients had to sometimes drink from bowls and lunchtrays, and the a/c was not working. Once the a/c was half way fixed, black particles were blowing from the vents and soon everyone was getting sick, including myself. I had to threaten to leave to get medical treatment. Security was so bad that clients were having unprotected sex on the property and keep in mind that many clients have STD's,  Hepatitis, and H.I.V.  I witnessed another person having a siezure and no medical aid was administered. Fortunately he survived. The staff locked 3 clients in a bathroom for 10 hours for  being what the program is calling "unethical"  i would call this "false imprisonment"

Some of the employess are ex-staff from the infamous Arrowhead Facility in Canadian Ok, where many deathes have occured in the past, most recently July 2012.  R.I.P. Stacy Dawn Murphy. What every client and I have in common is we all were once addicts and we all were sold paradise and arrived at Hell !!! There is a feeling of evil in the air soon after you arrive. I pray you will read this and do your research before signing a contract or giving them any money. All employee's in this facility are master manipulators and will manipulate you or your family in to wasting you or your families money, this is because money is what they want, sobriety could happen maybe?! Are you willing to take the chance?
