We sent our son to this place because he was desperate to find a bed in an alcohol treatment facility. After talking to Brandon on the telephone and being told of all of the opportunites at BDR our son was happy to get on an airplane and fly to Michigan. It was apparent from the start that this place was not legit. He was never seen by an actual doctor (even in detox) and was not given his medication that he brought with him for a medical condition. They supply you with vitamins and 'calm juice'.
The web site promises that you can pick your treatment track - Spirtual, Holistic, Native American etc. What they do not tell you is that you need to read L Ron Hubbards books before you can even attend an AA meeting although the 12 steps is listed as an option. The facility is extremly dirty and in disrepair. You are promised massages, accupunture, etc and they do not tell you that they will charge you extra for this. The program costs $25,000 and you are living in a roach motel. Even the food is awful - he was served cold chicken wings for breakfast.
If you are looking for a treatment facility for yourself or a loved one you should run fast and far from this place.
