1. I have a computer screen shot that shows Best Repair online ad having two locations; one in Wilmington, NC and the other in Southport, NC.
2. I have a computer screen shot showing Best Repair online ad listed under Wilmington, NC with one phone number for Wilmington with Best Repair making a comment on my review there showing a yellow sign with their name; Best Repair and a different phone number which is SAME phone number on my receipt.
3. I have another computer screen shot showing a listing for Best Repair with a Wilmington, NC phone number and within that same listing is the yellow sign with their name; Best Repair and the different phone number that is on my receipt. These computer screen shots proves that this SAME company has two different phone numbers and two different locations and proves that the business that alledged to have repaired my mower with a different phone number than is at their Wilmington ad listing is the SAME business that is in Southport that is on my receipt. I emailed Best Repair about our lawn mower May 5th of this year and told them the max amount of money we had to fix our mower and could it be fixed at our home. I got a reply by email telling me he could fix it for that max amount I stated and at our home. He told me a day HE WOULD BE IN OUR AREA that he would come and fix it. He came and claims to have put a new part in and told us all it needed was a new battery. Our battery he claimed was no good. He should have a battery with him to test his work and then he could take the battery with him. I hesitated paying him since the mower did not start but he said all it needed was a new battery and if it did not crank after we got one that he would come back and fix our mower without any additional charges so we paid him $100 cash and have a receipt from him with it written on it "Needs Battery".
When my husband got the battery and put it in which my husband has done for many years put our batteries in with no problem and the repair person did NOT tell us to not put it in but only if he didn't crank to call him. The SAME day we got the battery with my husband putting it in and our mower not cranking I emailed the repair person. When I did not get a reply back my husband called him and he was very rude to my husband telling him because I had written a snotty email he would not come back. I wrote him and told him I had not written a snotty email and if he did not come fix it like he said then I would post online about it. Then he wrote back and said because my husband installed the battery we were playing with the mower and that voided the warranty. I emailed him back the only thing my husband did was install the battery and try to crank it and that he did NOT tell us to not install the battery. The repair person threatened to post our phone number, etc. if we post what happened. The repair person advertising his business online makes it public knowledge but we have NOT given him permission to post information about us that is NOT public knowledge!
Then he tried to tell me because of the gas money he spent coming out to our home was another reason he was not coming back. I have the email from him to prove he said he would be in our area the day he came!!
Somewhere in the middle of all of this I got a email from Best Repair that he would come back out but then when I did not hear from him I emailed him again and again he accused us of tinkering with the mower when I told him IF he did not come fix it someone would see if they could find out what was wrong and again told him NO one had did anything to the mower other than put the battery in and try to crank it which the repair person did NOT tell us the day he came out to not install the battery.
And the repair person wrote me how it was over a hundred degrees in our barn the mower is in the day he worked on it and that is NOT true as when he came out May 7 (have dated receipt) it was no where near that hot and the repair person said he would have to pick up the mower and charge us more money which was NOT our agreement that he would fix it for the money we paid him and at our home!!
He cussed in his email to me and said since I had told him my husband was disabled why wasn't I helping the poor guy. This repair person has NO idea how much I've helped my husband in over 35 years of marriage but with my almost dying last year and having poor health myself I really resented him saying that. My husband has been through cancer three times, brain surgery to remove a tumor, other surgeries and other health problems and is 66 years old so I think it's shameful for this so called best repair person to have acted this way.
We were out in freezing temps this past winter selling things we would not had otherwise sold if not for us needing the money as medical bills can wipe out a lot of people and that makes me the most upset that we spent our last hundred dollars we made from those sales to pay this guy to fix our mower but our mower is still not working and we have no more money to fix it.
Most online review sites he does not allow posting reviews but I found one site where a review could be written and he denied being the same company that I posted the review at so that is when I took online screen shots to prove he is the same company as the one I posted at. However, I am suspicious as right after I posted my review when there was no other reviews there at that time then suddenly a few reviews were written to try to discredit me but I have the screen shots and receipt and emails to back up what I've written.
