Spammer

AUTHOR: tl201327@yahoo.com - ()

He spams people whether they're looking for a job or not. The rebuttals in his favor are probably as legitimate as the job postings you've encountered.

Simon uses 'bait' job ads and trolls careerbuilder.com

AUTHOR: Chris - ()

Spamming job seekers for assistance in finding SOMEONE ELSE a job is as low as it gets.  Simon blames me for not being hired for a job he could never prove existed.  The Spam was constant and annoying. Then his rebuttals talking about "poor Chris" were laughable.

He trolls sites like careerbuilder, which has evolved into scam central and uses phony job ads to rope in resume's and email addresses.

You have been warned.

all recruiters are sleezeballs

AUTHOR: tl201327@yahoo.com - ()

But Scott makes all the sleezeballs look really good. I don't know how he got my contact info but after being spammed so many times and having my numerous requests to be removed from his contact  list ignored it makes you wonder. Hint if you Google "scott simon better hire", this is the first link that appears. Something to think about.

meh

AUTHOR: tl201327@yahoo.com - (United States of America)

I'm not even looking for a job and I can't get him to stop contacting me. Interesting that a "CEO" is the one actively recruiting???

I disagree totally

AUTHOR: c. smith - (United States of America)

Scott matched me with the job I've had for going on 3 years. He is professional recruiter who is well connected, and he works tirelessly for his clients. I will use him again. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you, Chris, but trying to destroy someone's livelihood is definitely not the most constructive use of your time.

Mike - did you send him out on any interviews, or was he so bad and/or rude that you couldn't even do that?

Not qualified?

AUTHOR: Steve - (USA)

Scott - Do you know specifically how his qualifications did not meet the requirements? Was there any lower-level job you could find him? Or was it just his terrible attitude?

To the OP - care to post your resume? Hard to tell if you are telling the truth without it.

Chris didnt have the qualifications

AUTHOR: Scott Simon - (United States of America)

for the job. Hes been out of work for years.

I understand how he feels because it must be hard.

Its my opinion through our correspondence he has anger issues.

I'd make sure you got lots of references from previous employees -if you can find one that will be honest with you.

Beware of this angry guy.

Not so fast, lazy guy !

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

I could post copies of Scott Simon's Emails soliciting others to help him make money, but I don't care to take the time.

I have been a consultant fir many years, but I am hired permanently now, and my paycheck for the last week was comfy, thank you.

See the comments by Steve and take them to heart, folks.  Simon works out of a basement.

This recruiter does not sound particularly bad..

AUTHOR: Steve - (USA)

Listen - all recruiters are sleezeballs, as most middlemen are (e.g. apartment brokers, etc). Their only incentive is to make a deal go through. If you try any other headhunters, you will see the exact same practices.

the truth about this complaint

AUTHOR: Scott Simon - (United States of America)

this poor guy answered a job ad we published and was not selected.

He hasn't worked in 8 years and although he seems nice there is something definately wrong in the way he communicates with people.

there was no way we could represent him to our client.

For a guy whose unemployed you would think he would be less threatening to people trying to help him.

Not with Chris.
