Beverly Goodman Failure to return rental Deposit, then left town. Tempe, Arizona

I subleased a room from Beverly Goodman, leaving a deposit:

"Jack, Please let this e-mail serve as a receipt for your $500.00 rent/security deposit at 703 S. Starley Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281. It is my understanding that you will deposit the $500.00 into my Bank of America account tomorrow. This money is fully refundable under the terms that we have previously discussed (your share of the rent, $380.00, is paid each month and you cause no damage to the premises other than normal wear and tear). In the event that the money is not deposited into my account tomorrow, this receipt will be null and void. I appreciate your depositing the money directly into my account. See you on the 30th. Beverly"

I rented through the end of May, paying the final month's rent.  I took pictures of the room when I moved in and when I moved out, as well invited a 3rd party to witness the condition I left the room.

After numerous attempts to collect my security deposit, Beverly moved out and hid from me.  She no longer accepted phone calls nor emails.

Further, the man she was renting from, George Buckler, was also searching for her to collect the months behind on rent and for the damage done to the home (she had two dogs that destroyed the carpet, woodworking, etc.).  Last I spoke with George, he had been unable to find Beverly Goodman.
