I purchased 4 new Continental tires from Bog O for $1175. and paid $113.36 for "extended tire protection". This charge is for for any road damage to the tire. My wife hit a curb in Nov. 2012. We took the car to Big O, we took it immediately.  Dan Gorman did not test for air loss but declared the tire sound and the tear sealed with super glue. The tire was leaking 10 psi by the time we arrived home and continued to require 10-15 psi several times a day. We bought a new tire from Tire Rack for half the price that Dan quoted.

We took the new tire to BMW Scotsdale for inspection and installation of the new tire. We were told by BMW that the Big O repair was defective and very dangerous. The super glue is not a proper tire repair and would lead to a front blow out  leading to endangering the lives of any one in my car and any other car that we might hit.  They declared the tire was not reparable.
Dan Gorman does not honor his contracts and will endanger customers' lives to protect his financial status rather than do the right thing. I strongly recommend that you do not buy tires from Surprise Big O.

Dennis is not telling the truth. Dennis did purchase 4 tires for his older BMW and when he came to pick up his vehicle told us we scratched a rim. I offered to refinish his rim from the very same people the BMW Dealer uses,he stated this was not good enough, which I dont believe was fair but I am always willing to work with someone. Dennis recieved a new wheel to the tune of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Dennis did come in a week or so ago and stated that he nipped a curb with his right front tire. This particular tire has a curb guard built into the sidewall. This curb guard is right above the area where the tire meets the rim. It is raised out from the sidewall about 1/2 of a inch. The curb guard had a slight strip about 3/4 inches long and 1/4 inch deep that was hanging from the impact, not even to the sidewall of the tire. The curb guard did exactly what it was intended to do, it protected the rim and the sidewall. I told Dennis this was not a problem and he could super glue the strip down if it cosmeticaly bothered him. While Dennis was in the parking lot he asked one of my employees to get some superglue and glue the strip down knowing that this was only a cosmetic issue. Dennis is a former engineer however he is eccentric.  Dennis called me about a week or so later and stated that this particular tire was loosing air and that he purchased one at the dealer (is what he told me). Obviously he ordered one at the tire rack, probably the same day he left here because they take 3 days to 10 days to ship a order. The tire rack is a wharehouse not a dealer or distributor. Dennis than wanted me to refund him for the tire. Dennis did not tell me the tire was leaking when he came in, but now all the sudden it was leaking. If he would have told me that, I could have inspected the tire, but Dennis knew we would find nothing,so he ordered a tire from somewhere else in order to try to commit fraud, and than paint a jaded story on the internet about us using superglue to put his sidewall together.  So in short he tried to rob us and than he bears false witness on the internet to try to hurt our familly business. I have owned and operated this store for over 13 years and run a honest businiss. Dennis should be in jail for slander.Instead of using his time to pay it forward he uses his time for selfish gain at anyones expense. I would strongly recommend not doing business with him to any business, as he is not a fair man. I will state my first and last name because I am not ashamed of who I am. Sincerely Owner/OPERATER  Dan Groman
