My problem with Big State Industrial Supply is not their products but is their telemarketing. I made the mistake of ordering a few blades from them, which didn't live up to the billing, but I've bought worse. Once I was on the radar these guys started calling every week to push their specials on me.
I tried being polite to begin with but that didn't work. I started treating them the way they treated me, that didn't help at all. So now they are calling me several times per day. This is harassment pure and simple. It starts with "Remember the voice?" Sure do. Your the guy I can't wait to run thru my brush grinder!!
Complaining to Big State did no good, as I was told they out source all telemarketing. So it seems there is nothing I can do other than ignore out of state and blocked phone numbers, but ignoring blocked or out of state numbers results in lost business and sometimes they make their number appear to be local.
Help! How do I get off this list?

How to get off " The List"

Well one way would to be not to file with Secretary Of State since that which is usually where most lead source information come from. Also MOST Sales, Promotional, Telemarketing, Survey Companies and so on obtain their lead source info from 2 other places which are InfoUSA and Dunn&Bradstreet. You could contact them and ask to be removed from their database! LAST but not least ill give this last suggestion.
Now seeing as how you are a "Business Owner" I'm sure you have a Business Telephone Line correct? Also being that you are a Business Owner I would tend to assume you pay mortgage on a house in which WITHIN that home you have a Residential Phone Line correct? Just having and knowing ALL the success and knowledge would have researched either online by now, called the phone company etc and SHOULD KNOW there are 2 (TWO) separate National "Do Not Call Lists", A RESIDENTIAL and BUSINESS List!
SO ALL in ALL, before you go off getting all upset at these companies for calling over and over, complaining about not being taken off "The List" and all the trouble this is causing you... Besides just picking up the phone and answering it like a normal person in the first place MIGHT just stop what turn out to be the continuous calls you speak of. Unplug the phone for a few minutes so it doesn't ring and INTERRUPT your important business.
Do your research or call the phone company asking how you might get info about how to be taken off a list of such sorts and get informed before running off SLANDERING these SALES companies and Salesmen/Saleswomen who are ALSO just doing what they can/know how to make a living to provide for their families as such as you are doing for yourself and yours!
