Bill Heard Cheverloet Bill Heard endangered the life of my daughter and grandbaby with false pretense. Sugarland Texas

Today October 26, 2007 my daughter called me in Alaska from Sugarland because she had received a flyer from Bill Heard promising her $3000.00 as a downpayment if she will bring in her late 90's model car. Her car is not in the best of running conditions and Sugarland is approximately 40 + miles from her home. She is only 22 and my granddaughter is 3 months, last night her car would not start, she finally got it started and with no heat drove to Sugarland today because the sales rep told her they would put her in a new car based on the "flyer" they mailed to her just to lure her in. Needless to say, the denied her unless she had an additional 3000 dollars. She was not told any of this prior to driving the distance, she could have easily gone to a dealership closer to home without sitting in a cold car that may not start at a long distance away. I am too far to get there to help and I am disabled and cannot help.

I do feel that this Dealership is taking advantage of young people by making false promises to them just to get them on thier property, the GM would not come to the phone and I waited on hold for 30 minutes on 3 different calls. I have called some of my old friends there on the north side of Houston hoping they can locate my daughter and help her get back home. Bill Heard - what you did is deplorable and you should be ashamed of your shady tactics to attract young people and entrap individuals. Someone needs to stop them.
