Just wanted to followup 10 months later. We purchased a Chevy Silverado fm Bill Heard Cheverlot here in Las Vegas in Sept 08. 27 days later Bill Heard claimed bankruptcy and demanded the vehicle be returned to them with the promise that our down payment would be returned. After many run-arounds, promises and basically out right lies,
we still have not gotten 1 cent back. A true rip-off from a true crook.
Taking advantage of hard working Americans. People like this should be deported else-where and not allowed to remain in America. We also made repeated attempts to the corporate Cheverlot and Gmc headquarters with no reply what-so-ever. Seems they were just interested in obtaining more money from the taxpayers.
Personally I just constantly see Americans screwing over each other anyway they can just to make money. Greed is good is what Gordon Gecko said in Wall Street. Seems alot of people believed it and live by it. They don't realize this country will never move forward properly until people do buisness with honesty, and a code of moral buisness ethics. Just wanted to let you all know what a crook Bill Heard and his organization is and was all about.

You bought a truck. Signed the papers and either you or the bank owned the truck. They 27 days later the dealer says you have to return the truck because they are in bankruptcy and they will send you the downpayment back? That doesnt sound right. If you bought the truck you should have kept it. If the bankruptcy court said you have to return it then you would have to but by the way it sounds you had no reason to give it back.

Bill Heard is under the protection of the US Bankrucpcy Court. The ONLY way to get money from the assets is to file with the Court. Any other attempts can result in a warrant issued by the judge for your arrest. I would be VERY careful if I were you.

Apparently you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about bankruptcy. In order to file a claim, you MUST go through the bankruptcy court along with all of the other creditors. That is the ONLY way you can legally get any money from Bill Heard. Now, go file your claim with the bankruptcy court and stop whining.
