Below is a copy of my email to eBay requesting my listing fees back.

"I answered a job ad on Craigslist.org for an eBay auction lister and decided to try it out. BIG MISTAKE.

Long story short, the guy was a fraud and didn't have the items.

I never sent him any money - I checked him out on Google just before mailing the LARGE check to him, but I did list several items for him 3 of which actually sold before I could end the auction.

I cannot afford the fees that he said he would pay with the auction winnings. Yes, I got taken, but I guess it could have been worse. I am requesting a refund of the fees for those auctions before I pursue criminal justice for the money."

I have since contacted Billy's mom, Gloria at her company's phone # (818) 785-5054 , and she provided me with Billy's number(listed below).

I hope this helps those of you who really got screwed.

A criminal case has been executed against Mr. Bill Berlin. The detective on the case is still Detective Jon Barragan. You can reach Detective Jon Barragan at: 213-533-4654. The District Attorney assigned to the case is Shawn Werner. Shawn Werner can be reached at: 213-580-3272. Mr. Berlin has plead Not Guilty. The preliminary hearing is set to take place on July 28th, 2009 at L.A. Criminal Courthouse, Division 30. The case number is: BA353158.
