How is this a scam? If BIOSAgentPlus detects that there is a BIOS update for your PC and we determine that one is not available, we happily provide refunds to our customers.
That being said, you have already put a claim in with PayPal so there is no reason to refund the money here if you are already getting it back from PayPal.
You should have came to us first, you would probably have received your money back sooner letting us provide you with a refund rather than filing a dispute with PayPal.
-----------------------------------
These people have stolen $29.95 as they refuse to refund it. They are abusing the Paypal buyer protection program by acknowledging that Paypal will pay it.

I do not believe that Cleverbridge ever had any intention of making a refund which is why I initiated the dispute. The Paypal dispute process is in place to encourage both parties to resolve the issue rapidly before the need to escalate to a claim. An honorable business would have refunded the money and even this submission on Ripoffreport would have illustrated how well they handle complaints. Instead, they monitor this site and contacted me directly with respect to the initial submission offering to refund my money ONLY if this entry is removed and the Paypal dispute closed. Don't they call that blackmail? lol. They are certainly aware of the rules pertaining to Paypal's buyer protection policy and are willing to let the buyer go through the entire process.
Buyer beware!! Cleverbridge DOES maintain an extensive database of driver and BIOS updates however an update may NOT actually exist when the BiosAgent Plus software program notifies you that a "critical update" is available. If that is the case, kiss your $29.95 goodbye.
