The products description appears to be misleading. They don't seem to advertise that you have to buy several expansions to get the full functionality out of the game in addition to paying for service.  There is allot downtime that you are not reimbursed for. They suspend you for things that one would assume to be a minor issue without warning. There explanations for suspension don't always appear to be very descriptive as to what they mean. There support is poor,  they do not contact you in a timely manor if your account gets suspended and you ask for further clarification "i'm talking days". I find this to be very unprofessional.  Everything appears to be at there discretion and they don't clarify as to what "They" mean and how "they" define it.

People I used to play with in the game, used to believe they where targeted by people employed by them, and would state that there gold and in game items, was cumming up missing.  The same thing now appears to have happened to me years later.

The game has been modified in a way that makes it require less skill. It has waiting time just to log onto certain realms. In there terms that most of us click accept on, You may even give them the authority to look into your ram, It may be possible for them to monitor your activity outside of the game even when its not actively open, this might make you vulnerable to data theft.

Ultimately I would recommend playing mmorpgs owned by other company's if you even suspect something is happening because it may not be a bug.  Im going to give blizzard a thumbs down.

How were you ripped off?

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 14, 2012

All I see here is a bunch of whining about things you clearly don't understand.

" The products description appears to be misleading. They don't seem to advertise that you have to buy several expansions to get the full functionality out of the game in addition to paying for service "

Each expansion indicates on the box that you need the previous expansions to play. This is standard for MMOs, they all do it. Its not misleading, you just cannot read.

" There is allot downtime that you are not reimbursed for. "

They have tuesday maintence. Most weeks its rolling restarts that put the game down for 15min - 1 hour, every few weeks you have a downtime of about 12 hours. They charge $15 a month, or 50 cents a day, so they owe you 25 cents of game time for a maintenence day or about 2 cents on rolling restart days. Is this the rip off you are claiming? 25 cents of game time? Grow up.

"They suspend you for things that one would assume to be a minor issue without warning. There explanations for suspension don't always appear to be very descriptive as to what they mean."

Well, if you would bother to read the end user license agreement and the terms of service you would understand very clearly what things will get you suspended. Its pretty simple, don't harass other players, don't exploit the game, don't cuss in the game, don't Bot, and don't sell gold. Not hard to stay out of trouble, I've been playing MMOs since 1999 and never once had an account suspended. The rules are ridiculously easy to follow.

"There support is poor,  they do not contact you in a timely manor if your account gets suspended and you ask for further clarification "i'm talking days". I find this to be very unprofessional"

This depends on your issue. I've had minor tickets such as name complaints and harassment violations get resolved in an hour or two. When you have long ticket times, its usually a more complex issue like a hacking investigation. Something that requires them to pull logs and actually investigate, especially if there is item reimbursement involved.

"People I used to play with in the game, used to believe they where targeted by people employed by them, and would state that there gold and in game items, was cumming up missing. "

Now that's just paranoia. Why would Blizzard employees steal your gold and in game items? Don't GMs have the power to create items and gold in the first place? To what purpose would taking your gold serve? Can you PROVE they did it? I've never heard of such a thing.

"The game has been modified in a way that makes it require less skill. It has waiting time just to log onto certain realms. In there terms that most of us click accept on, You may even give them the authority to look into your ram, It may be possible for them to monitor your activity outside of the game even when its not actively open, this might make you vulnerable to data theft"

Who cares if the game is easier? That is not a rip off. No one promised you a difficult game. No one promised you lock of a wait time, you forgot to mention that you can move to a lower population realm if you wish to avoid wait times. Yes, you do give them access to look at your computer specs. If you are concerned about this, you should stop using Google. They do the same thing. Its still not a rip off.

Nothing in your report indicates any sort of rip off on blizzard's part. I'm thinking your account got banned and you are crying on the internet about it.
