Horrible Experience with this company!
I ordered roses for my mother-in-law for Valentine's Day. My mother in law called me and said two identical boxes were dropped off. I called immediately and spoke to a woman named Seema and told her we had two unopened boxes and what should we do since I only ordered one.
I wanted the delivery man who had just left to come back and take one back. She said it was their fault, keep the roses. I was hesitant to do so and told her so because I didn't want to get charged for two. She assured me I would not be.
I asked her if I had in fact been charged for two sets, or one as they never sent me a receipt when I ordered ( only a confirmation number saying I ordered.) She said they don't send receipts unless someone asks. I said who doesn't send receipts? Legitimate companies send receipts.
She told me to check with visa to see if I was charged once or twice and call her back. This annoyed me that she would not send me a receipt or acknowledgment that I was going to being credtied.
I called Visa and they said I had to wait until the charge showed up and then they
could see about reversing it. So I waited a couple of days called Visa and found out I had been charged twice.
I emailed Blooms N Roses to tell them and asked them to send me a copy of the credit. No response. A few days later I emailed again. No response. Very Unprofessional.
So I called Seema again (who was actually nice) and told her that I had been double charged and was awaiting my credit. She said she remembered me and that it was no problem. She was going to issue the credit to me that day.
Later that day I got an email from John that said I had ordered twice and they were not responsible. This time he sent a receipt which did not even match up to the amount I was charged by Visa. There was a few dollars difference! Made no sense.
I called Bloom N Roses, no answer. I called again. No answer. I emailed them and told them that I had only ordered one bunch and I had spoken to Seema right from the start who assured me from the moment the flowers were delivered it was their mistake and I would be credited.
Sorry, was his reply. I have since gone online and seen 76 complaints against them with the BBB and dozens of other complaints against them on various internet ripoff reporting sites.
What kind of company doesn't give you a receipt when you order " UNLESS YOU ASK". Also what kind of company promises you twice it is their fault and that you will be credited and then doesn't credit you?
In comparison, I ordered flowers from FTD the same day for my own mother and immediately received a receipt, and excellent service and results.
Bloom and roses is a " FISHY" company to say the least and I warn you to stay away from them!
