 We bought our home in 2008. It had a Blue Haven pool that had been built in 2007. Within a year the cool deck started peeling. Its everywhere, in the pool on the steps, in the yard, etc. I called bluehaven but they said the warranty was not transferrable. I asked them to make an exception due to the fact that it was less than 2years old, they refused. I called back a couple of times but was transferred to voicemail and my calls were not returned. Another issue is that they built the waterfall out of sandstone.

They also put sandstone around the edge of the entire pool as a border. This is a cheap method of construction that is wreaking havoc on my pump, motor, and filters, not to mention the bottom of our feet. Sandstone is exactly that...sand, and it erodes, flakes and peels of in sheets. You CANNOT keep it out of the pool. What a ripoff! They have refused to return my calls or acknowledge the fact that their poor workmanship, dishonesty and incompetence are the cause of these problems. If they stand behind their workmanship...why dont they fix this? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

It's obvious that you have nothing else to do besides peruse these sights and try to fight with people. If seems to me that you work for Blue Haven, since they have the same attitude as they do. Consumers beware ...this is the EXACT type of response I got from Blue Haven. If you're just someone off the street, I have no need to discuss my pool with you. I am simply letting others know what happens when they use Blue Haven. I am now replacing the entire cool deck as well as removing the sandstone ALL THE WAY around the pool. I am furious at the builder of this poorly constructed pool and deck and even more furious that they refused service after the sale from the beginning.

 Ok so even after you were told that you had no recourse because the warrenty wasnt transferable, you continue to post complaints? You have no idea what the previous owner did to the deck to make it look sellable. You have no idea what the realitor did. You immediatly run and cry to the only ppl who really cant help you. When you purchased your property, you purchased it as is. Unfortunatly, youre stuck.

I mean really. What kind of person are you that thinks you dont have to pay for your own probelms. That whole pool was put in by the previous owner, who more then likely, went with the CHEAPEST bid. Just to make it look better in the back yard. Dont blame that business for the previous owners decisions.
