Blue Haven Pools & Spas in Charleston, Myrtle Beach South Carolina are the biggest liars and con artists! They had an article written about them in the Myrtle Beach Hearald how they only use sub contractors that work for them only! Liars! All of the sub contactors that they used, other pool builders have been using for years. They say that they give you a life time warranty on their pool shells when in fact, SC only gives 8yrs. They advertize that they give you 3yrs warranty on equipment. Liars again! On job sites, they change the pool plumbing to save monies that have been approved by DHEC. I have the pictures to prove it! Liars and cheaters again! They say that they put 12" of gunite or concrete on their floors and walls! Liars and cheaters again! I have the pictures to prove that they only use 6". The head man in Myrtle Beach has only been building pools for 16 months. He may say that he has over 15 yrs. Fact is, the kid is only 21 and just turned 21 last August. The kid has had 4 Sales Manager work for him in the last 2yrs. and thay all have been fired only because he doesn't want anyone to know more than him. It's his ego and his wife's ego that will bury them!

They also lie about their financials to get commercial jobs. They can't be bonded because they don't qualify. I have the proof of this also. Liars and cheaters again!

The main reason I'm writing this is to tell everyone what type of people you may be dealing with. I was hired in April of this yr. For months, I was being bragged about how wonderful of a job I was doing to corporate. As time went by, the Kid started to hate me more and more! I'm not stupid and I do realize that the economy has slowed down. I was working no less than 12 to 14 hours days including weekends. I personally put out more than 5000 door hangers trying to generate business. 2 weeks before I closed on my new home in SC, I asked the President DP if my job was safe? His exact words were, Sales Manager, you have nothing to worry about. Close on your house and lets get through this as a team! 5 days after I closed, I was laid off!

The main reason I writing this is that my wife also worked for Blue Haven Pools and started in June of this year. Her employee documents were signed on June 14th, 2008. On October 3rd, 2008 when we both were laid off, I found out that my wife was pregnant. I called Blue Haven Pools and was told that she had only been employeed for 84 days and she didn't have insurance. Well as anyone who knows simple math, from June 14 to October 3rd, 2008, there is more than 84 days.

My wife was so stress and depressed that we both were laid off and without insurance, she had a miscarraigged! I have thousands upon thousands of medical bills from Conway Medical and no insurance. I was never offerd family insurance for the both of us. Id this even legal?

Bottom line people, Stay away from these people. They only care about the mighty dollar so they can support they way of living. they all have Hummers, boats & toys. They also don't have the monies to pay for them. They have borrowed monies from people to try to stay afloat.

What do you expect them to say (Brian)! Notice the part about the health insurance isn't even mentioned! Rob personally came to my house and FIRED ME! He asked for the lap top, price book, samples & cell phone. I gave him everything he asked for.

As far as not showing up to work the next morning? Would you go to the office the next day if the owner (the kid) came to your house the previous night and took everything? Hey people, I collected monies, calmed down the upset customers who would come to the office or called, get changed orders done at commercial job sites and helped do office paper work.

Hey
Dave, how many times did you tell a special someone who you always refer to him as the highest paid engineer, that I was the General Manager? Hey Dave, how many times did you call me to asked if I would drive down to Charleston to straighten every thing out after the other kid (Brian) screwed it up? How many times did you tell me that you wanted to fire Brian but, wouldn't because of you know who? Owe you money? You don't have enough money to pay me what you owe me between firing me, my house payments, car payments I wouldn't have to save you money on gas, lying to me and putting my wife through the stress you put her through.

People, forget about the construction part (I already know of clients who would have complained but, didn't bother), Do these people sound like they even have an ounce of INTEGRITY?

Sales Manager or is it General Manager when it's convenient?

This employee was never fired or laid off. He owed BH Charleston over $10,000.00 and we told him we wouldn't be loaning anymore money on jobs that have not been sold. After telling him this he didn't not show up to work the next day and has not even called us.

As you can see this office has no complaints from people that we have actually done work for. Just proves that this is just a upset employee and has nothing to do with construction or business methods.
