The first day they came out at 8am and took down the fence ..had to say something to them about destroying the boards, because they were supposed to put the same fence back up in my neighbor's yard. Tried to call Darren ( No Answer ) left message. Then they started to dig. a few hours later they broke my neighbors cable line and our sewer line. I called Daron the supervisor for Blue Haven for 40 minutes before he called me back ,because I needed to know what to do with the sewer line, but obviously they do this all the time because they brought a temporary line with them.. No one spoke English.
The driver did but he was gone dumping a load of dirt. they cut the end off of the old one and we couldn't use the water or bathrooms all day until they were finished. At the end of the day they put the temporary one going across the deep end and duct taped it. I called Darren to ask him about my neighbors cable online and he informed me that we were responsible for anything that happens on the neighbor's yard.( signed papers ) ... although the back to the driver is driving like a bat outta hell ! Tearing the yard and grass and plants up!. At 5 o'clock they told me they were finished for the day and they had to leave the backhoe in our backyard so that they can take the concrete from our patio with them to dump.. I asked what time you're coming back tomorrow and he said around 7:30..8 o'clock ..
well its 8:30 and they showed up only to tell me that they were picking up the backhoe, because they had to go to another job and would be back in a couple of hours .. They came back about10:30 am to finished digging out the rest of the pool .Darren showed up about an hour later while he was here they broke the gas line that we already paid to have moved according to BHs plan. I had to call center point energy ..
We have already paid them $350.00 to come out last Thursday and move the gas line. I told Darren they have the skimmer in the wrong place in the deep end he said no no no it's in the right place ,. well anyway we need to get this temporary sewer line fixed ASAP.. I was told us we needed to wait because it might cave in the walls of the pool, so now every day they come out we can't use our water for showers or toilet because they're removing temporary line
I had to say something to Darren again about them tearing up the neighbor's yard with the back co I was also told someone would bring out the safety netting to section off part of the backyard so that the dogs wouldn't fall in a hole and I ask Darren about it in he only had 2 pieces each 1 was about 5 feet long actually need a 45 piece. Darren told me I can go to lowes and buy it if I need it!
Center point finally came out an hour and a half later to fix a gas line ,,, the gas company said Its BH fault because they should have called to have the line marked again before the dig..Center-point gas also took the concrete out from around a meter didn't want to take a chance let these guys do it because they thought id be right back out again ..they finished up today about 3 o'clock ,I ask them if they would clean up some of the piles of dirt is in the neighbor's yard that they had all over the plants and trees I did with the back so uprooted tree uprooted plants that were not in what I was told was access way ,in the guy flat out told me no ,,
I called Darren again ( no answer ) he finally called me back told me that they're supposed to clean up on Wednesday its Friday all my neighbors plants and trees will be dead by then so I had to call and hire somebody to come out on Saturday morning and fix all this ,,about 4 o'clock I tried calling Darren again, because I was looking at pictures that I had and the skimmer is in the wrong place..(no answer) left a message tried calling back again around 8 no answer left a message they're supposed to come tomorrow morning and do re-bar ..I guess it to late to get the skimmer moved now!
They rebar guys came about 8am..no problems. They left about 1pm.. I made a copy of their papers for the pool design..And noticed another BH mistake. No water fill pipe for the pool. There is a line through it. The Plumbers never showed up and no phone call to tell us anything. Had to have a guy come and fix neighbors yard. From 9am 1pm
Day 4 Sunday no work done
Plumbers showed up at 7:30 am today. No problems today. I told them about the fill line that needed to be added and they added it before Darren even got here. When Darren showed up today I went over all the mistakes that are being made and were made on the contract and price list we had before hand. Darren told me Rafael the district manager was flying in tomorrow to go over everything with us. I sent Leslie, Rafael and Customer care at blue haven all a detailed letter last night. Still no permit, lien release or insurance papers from BH. 3 times I have asked.
Today they came at 7am and did the gunite..No problems. They even made my 4 foot bench an 8 foot bench. I don't know if it was a mistake or BH is trying to make up for all the mess. I wish my top step was bigger. its 3 foot x 7 but I guess i was assuming it would be bigger.
at 4:00 pm we had a meeting at BH with the GM Raffel, Leslie and Scott, trying to figure out where things went wrong. didnt start out good the GM is a jerk and tried to push his weight around. I closed up the folder i had and was going to walk out when he stared to act like he was sorry ..never said it but he coward down.
If he wasn't mixed up in this I think things would be better. Everything went good Leslie pulled me aside and told me not to say anything she OK'd the 4 teir step in spa, water fill line and the over flow, and was going to take care of Doug's yard...and would order me a box of tile for the steps, spa and steps. but I would have to pay, which is ridicules because thats another thing that was supposed to be included in the price. She is going to get a price on the drain going to the road and just charge us her cost.
Day 7 The clean up crew showed up at 6:30 am and cleaned up Dougs yard and the left over gunite. They said the digging crew left a big mess..Unusally messy. He was going to tell Leslie. They were gone by 8am..
Todd came around 3 pm and fixed the sewer line.
Day 8 They came and fixed the fence about 2pm. They still need to come back and add more boards.
Emailed Leslie about replacing the neighbors sod, trees, and plants, because they told us they would use a 5 foot bobcat and used the larger 7 foot one.. so a lot of damage was done to the neighbors yard. ( no response )
Day 9 No show on the electric people. Its raining lightly today, but I did expect a phone call or email. I emailed Leslie (no answer)
Day 10- No show on the electric people.
Day 11- Sunday no work
Day 12- Monday electrician. showed up hooked up everything, didnt have all the supplies with him for the P-4 system, and also put the box on the wrong side of the equipment. Darren and George talked about where the box was going, but I guess Darren didnt tell the electrician. Now the electrician has to come back out and move it.
The tile guys are here. They also where not told what to do. They started the tile around the pool, but I had to go out and tell them the accent tile were every 6th one they had to redo it. They did the 4 tier waterfall wrong and now have to redo it. And they didnt have the extra tile to do the steps, bench and spa. No Show on the supervisor!!! For a week now.. Emailed Leslie 3 times today ( no response ) George emailed her and Raffel, Darren about the electrical box no response from anyone!
Day 13- Tile guys are back today. Today they are putting the moss rock, and flagstone around the pool and spa. I asked about the tiered waterfall being redone ..He said he called his boss. He hasnt heard back from Leslie. George received an email back from Leslie saying the electrician would be out Thursday morning to move everything to the right place.
Day 14- no response from Leslie. The tile guys are back to finish the job.
Day 15 - Shocker this morning when our toilets and showers over flowed and backed up into the sinks and tubs.. apparently yesterday when I had the tile guys redo the 4 tier spill way they thought they would do some destruction and put a piece of concrete in our sewer clean out.
Deck guy came to make the yard, Electrician came to move box and Todd Armstrong came to put new footing for the new decking post. George asked him to see what was wrong with the new sewer line, because it was backed up and he found a big piece of concrete in it.
Day 16- George got a call from John Ford who now said he is in charge and would take care of everything..no one came to work on the pool or the deck.
Day 17- Saturday and it's a beautiful day.. no work done.
Day 18 Sunday ..no work
Day 19 Monday , George talked to John Ford and he was sending someone out to finish the fence....no one came..and it's a beautiful day no work done.
Day 20- no work done..
Day 21. John was supposed to come out at 1pm he didnt show up..looks like everything is on hold... I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool!!!
