Blue hippo still advertising tv commericals.  People deserve there money being taken.  If anybody believed those commericals deserve to get,  ripped of.  There was alot of red flags in those commerical.

From being taken advantage,  of In the past.  I knew It was a scam.   For people being,  so stupid they deserve to go what they are going threw.   They are just laughing there heads of @ the people.

They filed bankruptcy to get out of paying.   All those millions they stole from people.   Well those people,  deserve what they get.  From beliving anything on t.v.

I just laughed @ blue hippo.  They are not going,  to mail people a new computer or t.v. after people paying monthly.

This Is why this country Is In the bad state Its In.  These crooks stealing from people. 

And the consumer protecting agencies,  who don't hold these businesses accountable from stealing from people.

The better business bureau.  Is also corrupt & guilty.  For protecting these bad businesses.

I would like to know how things got so bad.   These past 10 years.  And why did the people In charge these these bad crooks,  get away with abusing people.

Blue Hippo recently filed for bankruptcy.  So your 1200.00 is long gone, and you will never get it back.    Even if some attorney did pick up on this, it wouldnt matter because Blue Hippo is under protection of the bankruptcy courts, and no creditor (you) can do anything to them.

You are a unsecured creditor, that means you have to wait until their secured creditor's get paid.

I know it sucks, but what can you do. 

But food for thought.  Blue Hippo set their company up to help people with past credit problems.  So I have to ask, I am sorry , I just have to ask.....   Did you default on any credit card balances in the past?  Did you have some repo's on your record, where the car was sold for less that what was owed?  Did YOU file for Bankruptcy in the past? 

If the answer is affermitave to any of the questions, that still doesnt excuse Blue Hippo for stealing your money.

If the answer is Yes, then you ROBBED those companies as well... so this may just be karma.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) noticed a pattern with Blue Hippo too. The very pattern you mention, taking your funds and not shipping computers. So a settlement agreement was worked out between the FTC and Blue Hippo in 2008. HOWEVER the FTC discovered that Blue Hippo took in $15 million in the year after the settlement agreement and only shipped ONE computer!

Because Blue Hippo violated the FTC agreement, the FTC took Blue Hippo to court for sanctions. Long story short, Blue Hippo filed Ch 11 in November 2009.

Google Blue Hippo and you can read the lawsuit info yourself. I don't know if you can file a claim either with the bankruptcy Trustee or obtain part of the funds for the restitution that was originally set up by the FTC and Blue Hippo. It might be worth your while to check into the remedies available to you.
