Although i have not been with blue ribbon for many years now, i am still upset as to why i am not a customer still. My family and i fell on hard times and was unable to continue service for a year. The freezer we purchased from them stopped working during that year we did not order. As per our warranty, we called to have it fixed. Blue ribbon refused to fix freezer unless we reorderd. The contract we have does not state repairs on freezer are dependant upon the ordering of food. Now i have a freezer in garage that is worthless. I cant even find anyone who services these freezers. I did love blue ribbon up until this happened. It is such a shame they are unwilling to honor thier own contract and warranty..

I read this, and wanted to comment, as a customer myself.  In the paperwork, as well as the sales presentation, they made it pretty clear that the Preferred Advantage (the program that protects the freezer as well as offers the other service benefits) is included AS LONG as you are a blue ribbon customer.  If you are no longer a customer, I would imagine that Imperial, (or whoever made your particular freezer) would service it, depending on what your manufacturers warranty is.  Im sorry to hear about your tough financial times.  I know they they also have a program as part of the Preferred Advantage that helps make payments in case of job loss.
