After an investigation by Rip-off Report, we found that Blue World Pools is actively resolving complaints and addresses contractor issues. This EDitor has reviewed the Reports regarding Blue World Pools and has found a real and dedicated effort by Blue World Pools' management team to effectively resolve past, present, and future complaints. Many of which were just misunderstandings and have now been resolved. Rip-off Report found that the number of Reports is so very small in comparison to its total number of customers. All of the companies stated above are owned by Mike Warren. Surprisingly enough all of these companies still exist and are used for alternative banking options. The way it is written is Blue World Pools dba (doing business as) or fka (formerly known as). Note that this is the correct address where they are running their OPERATION 120 Interstate North Parkway East Suite 430, Marietta, Georgia 30339
Bait and Switch advertising quickly turns into a credit check they will run on your birthdate alone. Without ever disclosing that to you. They dont need your social security number at all. Secondly they are only looking for land owners, and this is where the real con begins. Your credit is not that important. As a mattr of fact it's better if you dont always pay your bills. They are banking on it!!
The person who you speak with on the phone is a telemarketer who has no idea of the problems they are beginning and some don't even know if the "pool on T.V." even exists. They are not commissioned sales people. Their only function is to set the appointment.
The actual sales person that they set the appointment with is usually only been with the company for a short period of time and is unaware of all that is to come. They do know their pools are over priced but thats about it. They are going to get played too because they wont get paid even if you do buy. At least not much if at all. This after they have probably driven more than 100 miles one way to an un-qualified lead that only wants the "pool on T.V."
We the customers of course are wrapped up in the dream of pool ownership and the fun it will bring. Letting our guard down and signing a contract that includes such things as 30% cancellation fees, binding arbitration, liable non-financing agreement, and lastly a ucc 1. There are no show pool customers. Ther are no show pools at all. In fact they dont intend on installing a pool in most situations.
Installation is never on time. Get this, if they can delay install by at least 120 days and blame it on your availability, they dont have to install at all. The install crews dont always get paid either plus they have driven a long way as well.
Cancelling is virtualy impossible because you have to get in a written request to cancel within 3 days of the signed contract. If you call to cancel, no one will tell us that and further more will then tell you a customer rep will call you back. B.S. Guess what, three days later this A-hole, Ken Pappaceno, calls you back threatening you within an inch of your life if you dont pay. 30% for nothing. Unpaid reps and installers. No pool or vaselline with this screwing just a lien on my family land. That is what the ucc 1 was for.
So now whether you did or didn't get a pool; whether you did or didn't get financing, It matters NOT they only what the land and will foreclose on your land and home if you dont pay in the way they see fit. That is why it doesn't matter if your credit sucks or not. That is why they run your credit. Thats what they do in the off season. Real Estate.
Most (90%) of their employees have no idea that they are defrauding the general public out of their land and home with no real desire to install pools. They are oblivous. No one communicates with other deparments and therefore the left hand doesn't know that the right hand is a criminal with bad intentions. under paid, uninforned telemarketers - mislead and hustled salespeople - overburdened installers - neglected finance workers all doing the same thing, while trying to help Blue World Pools get you swimming. Mike Warren and Ken Pappaceno got their eye on your LAND and HOME. Everyone is getting a raw deal. They care about no one.
Thats the scam mam!!! So if you actually got a pool out of the deal you are one of the lucky ones. I just paid the 30% and will soon be infiltrating the system like they have done to us. The freedom to do unto others as they have done to me.
