Everyone has probably seen the T.V. commercial from Blue World Pool. They are advertising the Econoline Pool for $399.99 We invited Blue Worle Pool to our house on April 13, 2008. A Representative form Blue World Pool named Jack Yalacki came to our house around 6:00p.m. He told use about the different styles of pools that they offered, not once talking about the Econoline pool that we called about. We agreed to think about purchasing the Midline pool. Jack called one of his managers. They dropped the price from $25,000 to $15,271 if we would consider using the pool as a show pool. That sounded great!!! But it should have made us stop and think. Every time that we told him that we were not interested, because of the price, he would call his manager back. His manager would drop the price everytime that he called. Around 9: 00p.m. he was still at our house trying to persuade us into buying a pool. (calling his manager several more time). The manager agreed to sell us the pool for $10,271. We told the resresenative that we would talk it over and get back to them. Because our kids were crying and wanting to go to bed because it was 9:15p.m. Jack told us that all we need to do was sign this sales quote. That was we could get the pool for the $10,271 if we decide. We NEVER once agreed to buy a pool. He told use that we could give him $200 tonight and let BLUE WORLD POOL know weather or not we wanted the pool on Monday. We told him that we might consider the pool, Jack said that we could have our money back if we decided not to buy the pool, with no problem. Monday came around, we decide not to get the pool. We tried called the company several times and we just go the run around. On Thursday the April 17,2008, we finally got a hold of BLUE WORLD POOL'S manager. He told us buy signing the contract (the sales quote that Jack Yalacki called it) that we agreed to buy the pool. And to cancel the pool we had to pay a cancellation fee of 30%. NOT ONE TIME DID WE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT BUYING A POOL FOR BLUE WORLD POOL. Our exact word were that we would think about it and get back to them on Monday. One the sales quote (that's what Jack Yalacki called it) there were places for initials. That we just skimmed through and signed. The representative informed us again that we could get our money back, with no obligations to buy. BLUE WORLD POOL wants us to pay them two thoulsand and some odd dollars for the cancellation of the contract. So we agreed to buy a pool from them the one that they offered on T.V. the Econoline pool for $399.99. The customer service manager said that we could not do that because that they were sold out of that style pool. And he said that in their contract it said that you could not down grade a pool. In the sales quote there is no place that says that we cannot down grade to another pool. Also at the bottom of the contractit says: Notice of cancellation: You may cancel without penalty or obligations, within three business day from the date on the contract, but it must be in writing. I wrote them a letter on April 15, 2008 and mailed it out on that day as well. In the letter I informed them that I made myself a copy of the letter along with a copy of the envelop from the post office after the post office stamped it. As of April 17,2008 they have no record of the letter. The manager in customer service told my girlfriend that if we did not pay them the money that they would turn it over to a lien company and they would put a lien on our house. We have tried everything to resolve this situation. Blue World Pools just told us that we were out of luck, because we signed the contract. (sales quote that Jack Yalacki called it). This just goes to show that anyone will do anything to make a sale. We don't what this to happer to anyone else and maybe we save someone from this disaster. Please copy and paste this into an e-mail and forward it to all your friends and family.
Please inform other customers the true story and maybe save them from this disaster.
