Blue Yellow Book Scam and Credit Harrassment Aventura Florida

In late November we received a call from John at BlueYellowBook. They spoke to Pat Brown. They told him that Sheyrl had authorized an listing one year ago and we owed them $698.00. I told Pat no such authorization had been made and they told him that they would be sending us an invoice. They sent and invoice dated 12/01/2008 for "Webpage and Online Listing" for $698.00. On 1/6/09 I responded by writing a note on the invoice, "1/6/09, We did not subscribe to this and will not pay this. Connie Garrett"

Today, 1/13/09, Pat received a call about the invoice and when it would be paid. He referred them to me. I told them that I knew they knew what my standing was because I had sent the invoice back to them. She said she knew but that Pat Brown had authorized the ad and they had the verbal agreement on a recording if I wanted to hear it. I asked her to send it to me by email and I would listen to it. She said she would not send it because it was not my property. She said if I didn't pay, she'd have no alternative than to report me to the credit bureau. I told her I guess she better go ahead and report me. She said she would be filing on an on-line credit bureau and it would be listed as the equivalant of a bankruptcy.

No reputable business would be so rude! Is there any law enforcement agency to take care of these people?
