How do we file a class action suit? This company has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, but one of the higher ups in the company started another company called Tronix country. There phone number is 1-888-895-1719. i don't know how this helps but the company does the same exact thing. It offers computers over time, the same free gifts and upgrades. I think it's the same company under a different name. I don't know for a fact but give them a call and see for yourself.

Why????

Same company, third business name. Can not figure out why anyone-even with bad credit would use them?

Your going to pay $1500-$2000 for some P.O.S. laptop, you can buy a decent one at the store for less than $500, just save the same money you would pay B/H, Tronix or what ever they call themselves next time, it's the same difference as you don't get theres until it is paid for either(if ever)

Sue them for what?

Blue Hippo filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy (not chapter 11) over 7 months ago.  They are finished.   Chapter 7 is a liquidation and sale of the company's assets in order to profide a few cents on the dollar to its creditors.

I agree that Tronix Country seems to be using exactly the same scam model as Blue Hippo, but you can bet that no one there is going to claim any connection to the bankrupt company.   It took the FTC over 4 years to bring down Blue Hippo and it only took a few months for Tronix to take their place.  While I can't personally say they're going to do the same thing as Blue Hippo, I'd certainly be wary of a company that copies the exact business model as a known scam outfit.
