If your reading this and you've been cheated by Bluegreen you need to IMMEDIATELY FILE A COMPLAINT with the Better Business Bureau website for West Palm Beach.
Then the Better Business Bureau website for the region that covers the area where you purchased your timeshare and/or where your timeshare is deeded.
Then go to the Federal Trade Commission website and file a complaint there. Then file a complaint with the Attorney General of the state you purchased your plan in.
Don't wait....PLEASE, do this now.

First, no one knows they've been scammed until LONG after the 10-15 day recision period. Very few people rush right home and start making vacation plans, and if they did, it has been my experience that BG makes special exceptions for new owners to aviod that very thing. Clever, very clever....unethical, immoral, and deceptive, but clever. Just wait until they've been in this septic system for over a year and see what kind of treatment they get.
Again Mike, your the quintessential Bluegreen scumbag.
If you are researching buying into this garbage heap of a company know this....your going to get screwed....period. You WONT get what you paid for and there is little you can do about it. Your going to sign a 15 page contract that basically strips you of any recourse at all when it happens. KEY WORDS: "Subject to Availability". TRANSLATION: "We've got you, and there is nothing you can do about it".

PA Attorney General Files Class Action Lawsuit Against Bluegreen
AUTHOR: Shortseller - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, February 14, 2009
HARRISBURG Attorney General Tom Corbett announced lawsuits today against four Florida-based companies accused of illegally marketing vacation packages, using free airline ticket offers and other worthless prizes to lure consumers into aggressive and deceptive timeshare presentations.
Corbett said consumer protection lawsuits were filed against Bluegreen Corporation, Bluegreen Resorts, Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc. and Great Vacations Destinations, Inc., all of Boca Raton, Florida.
...Corbett said that Bluegreen representatives allegedly called consumers who believed they were entering contests and other promotions promising cars, cash and vacations.
According to the lawsuit, consumers were told that they had not won the grand prize, but had been selected to receive other items, like free airline tickets. Consumers were also promised free gasoline and meals when they collected their prize, if they attended a 90 minute timeshare presentation.
...Corbett said that in order to collect their prizes, consumers were required to schedule an appointment with a Bluegreen sales representative. In some cases, consumers who believed they would be attending a 90 minute timeshare presentation were actually subjected to relentless marketing pitches that lasted five hours or more.
According to the lawsuit, numerous deceptive statements were made to consumers during these presentations in an effort to get them to sign contracts immediately, including phony claims that prices would increase the next day, misrepresentations about when and where consumers could travel if they made a purchase and false statements about certain fees being waived.

You ask if there is any advise... If you are going to make a complaint, make a complaint. What did they lie about, what did they take, what have you done up to this point to resolve the issue. Your complaint will be taken more seriously.
