Body Of Change - Affliliated Acceptance Corporation Did not provide services, Has not accepted termination of Contract Phoenix Arizona

I signed with the Body of Change in the LA Fitness in Tucson AZ in 2005. After three attempts to meet with a trainer (no show by the trainer everytime) I cancelled the contract. I notified the sales representative who sold me the program and the manager/supervisor of Body of Change. I also sent a written letter (regular mail and certified receipt) to Body of Change notifying them of the cancellation of the contract and requested notice of any obligations and also invoking arbitration if necessary to resolve any issues. The company has never contacted yet Affliliated Acceptance Company claims I over almost $2,000 (which includes compounded interest). I have written again to both companies to dispute the debt yet no response.
