To whom it may concern;
I must advize and certainly hope that you(Kelly Hamilton) will take heed and pay attention to what is happening to the company that you say you love and started because you had a genuine desire to help others.....I must call Bull Sh*t!!!!! you are in this for money and absolutely nothing else.
I believe the best thing for not just this community but for the entire company is that you sale. You have allowed (in my and several other peoples opinion) 3 certain individuals to run your company into the ground. In case anyone is wondering who those individuals may be, let me spell it out for you. Pam Grey, COO. Allison Smith, Marketing Director and Rita Koffman whom I believe has just changed positions to be a Regional Director.
I am in and out of the Billings Community quite often and the things that are happening there are very indicative to what is happening in every building you own. You may ask how I know this so after seeing and hearing what I have in Billings I have picked up the phone and let my fingers do the walking and called several of your other communities and let me tell you that your staff is all to eager to give out their opinions. One person's comments may be considered a disgruntled employee but each and every person that I talked to says the exact same thing.
All of these ladies that are running this business have about as much compassion for others as a wolf has for its prey( it goes straight in for the kill and anything that gets in its way better watch out). Pam will continually tell you that we must always do the right thing, but i have to wonder what she considers that to be. Ali will tell you there is nothing of more importance at any tme in any community than marketing and moving census forward, yes if you were wondering that even includes patient care.
Rita will just try to humiliate you in front of anyone that she can show off for. She has strutted into the Billings community and more or less taken over and it appears at least that she is trying to push the current ED out. There is not a resident or family member that truely likes her, in fact they have all asked when she is leaving. I learned last week that she is setting up house and plans to stay for the long haul. All i can say is good luck to the residents, their familes and the staff. Nothing will calm down and relax as long as she is there.
You do have a very caring and compassionate Executive Director there right now but I can see where she will get ran off once again just like the other 10 or 12 that preceeded her. I have to give her credit though, i think she has been here longer than most. I also think that she is the best you have had in that position and could do great things for the company if she were left to run the building without one of the wolves biting her tail. She has had great department heads who have been ran off because of a lack of support from you, their owner and leader. When things fail you try to write it off as the fault of the incompetant people that you have placed in your buildings. have you ever thought that it may be the incompetant people that are making those maps. What is the definition of Insanity?
This is what I have noticed and been told by many a people that have worked for you. You hire people on, drop them into a building with no training, no support and expect them to run a ship without a map. then a few months later it dawns on you or someone else that this ship isnt sailing the way that we want it to so lets throw the captain and their crew overboard and throw a new crew on the ship and see if they can find their way back to shore. its a big ocean out there and without the necessary training and tools that ship is going to get lost in that vast ocean. I believe you are up to 35+ communities so that is a lot of ships lost at sea.
Again, I must ask, what is the definition of insanity? Your ladies that are currently driving your ship use this statement ALL the time. If you dont know, im quite sure they can answer that question for you. I know that this will probably fall on deaf ears just as the other posts at this site have, but I feel compelled to put this out there one more time. To all pf those seeking a place to live or a great company to work for, please heed the following:
I do hope that as consumers and human beings, as we are looking to these companies to give us peace of mind in placing our loved ones within your care that we do our due dilligence and investigate what is being said and the opinions and warnings of the people that have come before us. There are reasons that we take the time to make this statements
As caring compassionate individuals who truely do have a calling to work in healthcare and your greatest reward is knowing that you have provided great care and made someone smile today, i must warn you this is the last place you should ever want to go to work. dont waste your time in filling out an application or sending in a resume. This company will take the very best in you and turn you into a bitter individualy who feels humiliated in not succeeding in your field of expertise.
Believe in yourself and in your gut. if something tells you to be afraid.....then take it for what it is and dont work for this company and by all means do not place your loved one in one of these communities. if you dont believe me ask the residents and staff that are running out the doors. Be afraid......be very afraid.
