I have had a bad experience with Boyette German Shepherds. It started out as us doing a co-own with a promising female. I had been told that she had already been bred once before and had two puppies from that litter but she hadn't had any hip/elbow xrays yet. I agreed to pay for the hip xrays and take care of the female. Then, Boyette contacted me about a male that she had that she wanted to sale and I agreed to purchase him from them. I was also told that he had an injury to his one t******e and that he was not a cryptorchid. Little did I know that this same male had previously been sold to another breeder, only to be returned because he was indeed a cryptorchid dog.
So, after hearing this new evidence I decided to end all ties with Boyette and have her return my money on the male and have her come and get her female. Which, she did. Later, I find out that she is selling a litter mate to my female puppy that I already had for nearly double what she paid for the puppy and it had no training or anything. She posted the female that we co-owned and the male she sold me for sale online before she even came to get the two of them. Come to find out, the female had bad hips and she had already been bred so she's produced puppies with likely bad hips as well. Then, I started noticing her getting and selling all kinds of different dogs and her selling most of the others that I knew that she had.
Now, she has a dog advertised for stud that's over 8 years old. She also has for sale a 6.5 year old male German Shepherd that she claims was in a very bad situation and was rescued and was suffering from severe malnutrition and neglect. But, this same male belonged to another breeder that I know of and he was most certainly NOT malnourished. Then, I go to Carolyn Mills' website (Starview Kennel) and I see that she has bred two females to this male (Earl). If he was that malnourished and neglected he should NOT have been used for breeding. These two nut cases have simply bought a male with good lines to breed to a couple females and now that he's not useful to them anymore they're making up false claims and are selling him as quickly as they can.
These two people aren't good breeders at all and they shouldn't even be selling puppies. I highly encourage anyone considering doing business with these two to think again. I don't even know if Carolyn Mills is even a REAL person, seeing as how Katie is in every single picture of her dogs. Be careful with these two.
