Went in and had a transmission and brake fluid flush. A few weeks later my brakes started going out. Returned to Brake Masters and they found the release valve on one of my brakes was loose and leaking. They tightened it, topped off the fluid, and charged me $28 denying THEY could ever have been the ones to leave it loose a few weeks earlier; despite that this was the first time anyone had touch my brakes in ten years. Very irresponsible and unprofessional in my opinion.

UPDATE

AUTHOR: Meeder - (U.S.A.)

Brake Masters district manager contacted me, apologized profusely and stated something like this would never happen again. He then sent me a refund, although I had not asked for it. All I really wanted in the first place was an apology, thanks for finally stepping up.

If a bleeder screw was not closed, the fluid would squirt out every time you pushed the pedal. You would also have no brake pressure, as the fluid would be squirting out. You would not have gotten more than about a dozen full pedal lengths before all of the fluid would be gone from the resevoir. The brake warning light would also have been on almost immediately, as the proportioning valve would be attempting to stop the flow of fluid.

Your tale makes no sense.
