I am a professional real estate appraiser. Mr. Korte hired me to do appraisal assignments for him back in Sept. 2007. I performed the assignments which normally get paid from an escrow account. Out of eight assignments I am still owed for six. I did the work why can't I get paid? He still owes me $650 and I have been wasting my time and energy to get my account paid.
In addition, I hired Mr. Korte to handle a simple accident case that happened in August 2006. I found out 2.5 years later he never followed up on the case, never sent in the paperwork to my insurance carrier for medical liability payments or Personal injury or protection. He abondoned me while along his stroked my saying he was waiting for the insurance company to pay up. Right good job. I found out from my P.I.P. carrier he never sent in the paperwork for payment. I had to hire another attorney to do his job. I am also sending in a grievance complaint to the Florida Bar for his actions. I know this is South Florida but this is pure negligence. You owe money, pay up like the rest of us.
