i gave a security deposit to brickleys property solutions. when we moved into the house we did a check list of all the items that were wrong with the house. i also sent emails to nick caffey advising him of all the problems with the house. many repairs were not done to the property because nick caffey said that they were "cosmetic". however, when we moved out of the house my entire security deposit was kept. i received an invoice for repairing the items that were already broken in the house when we moved in. the same items that were considered "cosmetic" were now being billed to me the tenant. i told nick caffey that i did not agree and that i wanted to see a judge but he said that he would come to an agreement with me as items i was being charged for were clearly stated on the move-in check list. i filed a dispute with the BBB but Nick Caffey contacted me via email and said this is not necessary because he just need time to review the emails and move in check list. I was upset as i feel this should have been done before i was charged for all these property issues that are the owners responsibility. It is clear to me that NICK CAFFEY and his company only care about the owners because this is where they get their income. They do not care about the tenants because we come and go but the owners are their ACCOUNTS. After about one month of waiting for NIck to review the documents and my dispute with BBB expiring.... Nick sends me an email telling me to take him to court.
He is a liar and a thief. DO NOT rent any property from this company because they are not honest and they do not care about the tenants and the families. They also do not value the privacy of tenants/.
