I ordered a lovely mother of the bride gown to wear to my son's wedding. The order was placed two months prior to the event. Because I am 5'3", plus sized, and my bra size is a 42 I cup it is hard for me to find things that fit, so I ordered a custom made gown and sent all my measurements - across the chest above the bust, bust, waist, hip, hollow to heal, and around my upper arm as I have trouble with sleves being too tight. It was supposed to take 4 weeks. I recieved the dress over 7 weeks later, less than 3 weeks before the wedding. In a DHL bag sent from China even though the address on the website had said New Jersey. To be fair, the material was nice and the color as expected. But the dress, supposedly made to my measurements, was EIGHT inches too long, tight in the sleves (and the sleeves just looked wrong), the shoulders were too wide, and the neckline gaped so much you could insert a mellon in the bodice! I didn't even have to bend over for the top of the dress to be obscene. I contacted them via email, and they insisted the dress was custom made to my measurements. It was obvious they couldn't understand all the things I was saying were wrong with the dress. They told me to send the dress back, and it took 2 more messages to get them to understand that would mean I would not have it in time for the wedding. So they said I could take it to a local tailor, and they would pay for alterations. Although suspicious of the offer, I took it to the tailor. She told me it could be altered, but it would cost $140. I was not about to pay $140 for alterations to a $90 dress, and it's a good thing I didn't because I later got an email from them saying they would pay for alterations up to 20% of the dress price! I kept telling then I wanted a refund, and they kept telling me it was custom made and they wouldn't give me a refund. So after half a dozen emails I mailed the dress, at a cost of $32, to China. I included measurements pinned to the applicable places on the dress, and pictures of me wearing the dress to show how it doesn't fit, including a lovely one showing most of my bra. Now, 50 days after I mailed it, they are still claiming they have not received it. I think they got it, saw how much was wrong, and decided they couldn't fix it so they would just pretend they never received it. Do not order from these people because you will get nothing for your money except a lot of aggrevation.
