We ordered my Wedding Dress from Bridalblvd.com and received it within 2 weeks.  The dress was 2 sized too big, so we were unable to have a seamstress alter it here in the States.  About 2 months before the wedding, we contacted Bridal Boulevard (by phone) and they said they could alter the dress with my exact specifications (measurements), and to just ship it back to them and pay the $14 shipping fee. 

My Mother kindly did so and ended up paying $60 for the shipping.  For almost three weeks, we had not heard anything from the company, so my Mother emailed them to check status.  They advised the following on 3/8/12 "We are altering the dress right now.Pls do not worry,we will send it out once we finish it."   On 3/21 we had not received my dress nor had we heard anything.

The wedding is now 18 days away.  My mother, again, emails for a status update.  They replied with "Sorry that there is some delay on your order. We are making the dress for you right now, it will be shipped out next week. Thank you so much for your patience."   Naturally we panicked a bit because on 3/8/12 we were told it was already being altered.  We just needed some assurance that we would have it for my Wedding Day and in enough time to ensure that the dress is just perfect and exactly what we asked for. 

They respond with the same basic and vague response of "Sorry for the delay. Pls.don't worry , we will ship it out very soon once its finished."   On 3/22/12 I finally got through to someone on the phone (9 times out of 10 they do not answer). I was advised that they are finishing my dress and it will be shipped on Monday 3/26 and I will receive it (from China) on Wednesday 3/28.  It was hard for me to believe this but they insisted it is possible and I would have my dress, they promised. The next day, 3/23/12, we recieved this email:

Sorry to disturb you, just get the replay from our tailor that its too hard to alter the bust measurment on the orignal dress , so they decide to remake a new one for you , in this way , you just need to pay half price to get a new one, we know its unfair for you to pay money again, but we have no other way expect this . If you are not agree , we will still alter it on the orignal dress , but we can not sure about the beauty of the after alteration dress since the big difference betweem the two bust size .

Naturally my Mother and I were livid.  The additional $99 was paid to them to make another dress for me because we really had no choice.  Its obvious they never even opened the box until 3/23 even though they were insisting they were altering the dress and to not worry.  On 3/27/12 I receive this email "We are remaking the dress right now and you can receive it before 7th of April, is that ok for you?"  The Wedding Day is April 7th.  This was more devastating news. 

Many more communications and received the same vague undescriptive answers of "We will have your dress to you by April 7th".  My Mother and I found another dress (thankfully) 3 days before my Wedding.  The next day, 4/4/12, I got into the online chat room and spoke to the same person I had been speaking to for 3 weeks (online) and she said they haven't finished the dress and would we like the refund now. 

Thank Goodness we didn't have to rely on this being THE dress for my Wedding.  I don't know what I would have done.  Luckily everthing turned out wonderful for my very special day, but I needed to make sure anyone who might have doubts about using this company should turn and run.  It was incredibly stressful and my Mother is still trying to get her money fully refunded from this company with no responses. 

Its a joke and it felt like a Scam throughout the entire process.  Forget about any kind of normal communication or customer service as well.  Do not use this company, its a huge risk if you do.  I know their website might show ALL good reviews but for some reason there are no bad ones at all. That seems a bit "staged" to me.
