After a lot of back and forth I get another Adjuster to come visit, and he agrees with what I thought should have been covered. As a result of damage from wind that occurred during "Sandy" my wood fence is on the brink of collapse. A claim is submitted back to "Bright Claims" and the horror begins. A representative named "Julie Pringle" is assigned to my case. She is by far the worse customer service representative in the world. No manners, disrespectful, rude, and obnoxious. She tries to plea bargain claims, knock down reimbursements, and discredit everything I say or try to prove.
If at all possible have nothing to do with this company and or person. I am filing complaints with the N.Y. State Dept. of Insurance and the Governor's office.

Your right, they get work from your insurer if they keep the costs down, way down, and at your expense. The adjusters are not on your side and if they bring out their own contractors, they work in tandem with each other to low ball the bids until you sign a contract to let them do all the work then a supplemental bid of 40-60% more is added and paid to their pet contractor. Either way, the adjuster and contractor have a conflict of interest in dealing with you fairly. They are paid by your insurer. In 1929 it was called racketeering. Today its an accepted method of defrauding you by rigging the game.
You should consider hiring someone on your side, a real Public Adjuster who works for you. They almost always get you 40-60% more than the adjuster can allow on your claim. You should never pay over 10-15 % for a Public Adjuster fee..NEVER! A good and real PA is one who has worked inside the insurance carriers. Do not use contractors who claim to now be a Public Adjuster. There is more to your claim than just writing an estimate by a contractor. Get a real Public Adjuster to handle your claim and get what is owed you under the policy. Put the money in your hands to make repairs, not the contractor hands. Its your choice to take a cash out and not make repairs with their pet contractors. Get your own sub contractors and save even more money to put in your pocket. Yes, you bet, there are a lot of thieves out there. Get the money in the hand first before doing any repairs.
