Broad Financial Services Money and Check Scam Dallas Texas

I recieved a letter saying I was to do a secret shopping deal, and get paid for it. The letter was sent with a check for $1810.00 and A sheet breaking down payment and how the money was to be used. I never signed up for this and actually am currently unemployed, I was tempted to cash the check but when I tried to call the number it went straight to a voice mail that was full. The check looks real and legit and was issued from a company out of Chicago, Performics Inc. Which seems to be a legit company and not anywhere says anything to do with secret shopping. This stuff is crap and I don't know the laws, but If I was to have cash this check I would have probably would be facing leagal charges, we need to put a stop to this stuff.
