SUMMARY OF ARBITRATOR DECISION
SJ, Author of Ripoff Report #774455 & 774459
Complainant has challenged the truthfulness of 10 specific statements posted on ripoffreport.com, in two reports with the same content, by Author Sj. Notice of this Arbitration was sent to the Author at the email address provided, but it was returned undeliverable. Therefore, in accordance with the Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration Rules (the Rules), the Author waives the right to participate in this Arbitration. Under the Rules, the Arbitrator will decide whether each of the 10 statements is an opinion or a statement of fact. If, and only if, the statement is determined to be a statement of fact, the Arbitrator will then go further and decide if, by a preponderance of the evidence, the statement is true or not.
In this case, the Arbitrator has only the evidence submitted by Complainant to consider. Complainant is MindHealingMiracles.com, a website created by Peter Copani. The identity of the Author Sj is believed to be Staci or Stacy Joy Gunar. The evidence submitted includes the Ripoff Reports referenced, the Witness Statement of Peter Copani and 12 supporting documents.
The Arbitrator found no claim by the Author of the referenced Ripoff Report that she is or was a customer of Complainants, and finds that the referenced reports are the disjointed recitations of events and personal complaints about Peter Copani and his relationship with Brock Mardis from a third party, likely Staci or Stacy Joy Gunar, the roommate of Brock Mardis girlfriend.
Any portions of the statements that were deemed to be opinion were not ruled upon by the Arbitrator. The Arbitrator determined that the statements contained in the Report were false. Therefore, according to the Rules, those statements have been redacted.
Decided August 30, 2012

Id like to start by first telling ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). BEWARE of the damage that can come from these beliefs!
Mind Healing Miracles.com has a statement from Peter Copani, about a young man who unfortunately found out the hard way. ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). Peter Copani in my opinion should to stick to the profession of play writer and leave his flair for the dramatics in the theater. Im also curious as to whether or not Peter Copani has ever gone to Kentucky wearing his ascot and cane looking like Liberace? It works here and on the east coast but definitely not there
Peter Copani then proceeded to explain his perception of Brock Mardis and his relationship with him. What he leaves out is that two months before meeting Brock, Brock went home to Kentucky because he was having a mental breakdown; he needed to be with his family and his daughter, who he had in his young teens. He couldnt make ends meet, he dropped out of school (where he never received honors) and he couldnt hold down a job and couldnt pay his child support. Brock went home to get back into his old surroundings and go back on medication. Once he was feeling better he proceeded to come back to Florida. ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)).
Getting past the next four paragraphs from the Mind Healing Miracles website, all I have to say is there are three sides to every story, yours, mine and the truth. Although Brock was working on his diabetes, he was also slowly becoming depressed again, falling behind on his financial commitments, not making child support payments, couldnt pay his bills and now for the first time questioning his sexuality. He would sleep all day, not answer his door, not even for Peter who would leave whole foods meals on the door. If Peter were certified in psychology, he would have realized that this was the beginning signs of Brock slipping.
I too had the opportunity to observe Brock and Tracys relationship before, during and after Peter. I was very good friends with Brock and Tracy both, and the incident that Peter Copani mentions were Sexual Assault & Battery.
Brock and Tracy were very close and in love. Brock used to tell me he was torn with his relationship with Tracy at times because he loved her so much. He told me she was the only one who stuck by him when he was in prison the first time, this time for assaulting a police officer, and that she deserved better.
Brock also once in a drunken moment got angry and threw a bottle at Tracys head where she now has a scar above her eye. Brock has also gotten violent with his father, mother and a baseball bat. Brock has anger issues; he knew it and it frightened him. Brock wanted great things out life but didnt know how to go about achieving them; hed give up and fall into a deep depression. It was a pattern even I had witnessed at least four times the year I hung out with him.
When things started to unravel for Brock this time, were when his family and friends back home started questioning and spreading rumors about his relationship with Peter Copani. How unhealthy it was spending so much time with this older man and being financially dependent on him. What was he giving Peter in return? Peter helped by paying for things for Brock, gave him a place to live, a Prius to drive and in return Brock felt obligated to Peter and trapped. He started spending more time at Peters and less at home with Tracy. People at home in Kentucky started questioning Brocks sexuality.
((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)), they mutually decided it was time to move on from each other, Brock had moved in with Peter and they were ready to walk away as friends. Tracy went home to study and Brock went back to Peters where he proceeded to drink Peters wine, under Peters roof, took Peters car and drove drunk to Tracys. Where was Peter? Why would a health conscience diabetic drink red wine thats high in sugar? He went to Tracys to ask why his family was asking if he was gay?????? Tracy who had a huge exam the next day spoke to him and told him hed see thing different the next day sober, asked that he sleep on her coach and not drive drunk. She thought she was being a good friend.
She went in her bedroom, closed her door to study and Brock got violent..In my opinion it was Brocks way of proving his masculinity and that he was straight bisexual maybe, but straight.. ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). The phone call that was made to Peter Copani was to tell him Brock had been arrested and should he bail him out to be very careful, Tracy was concerned Peter was in over his head, maybe not familiar with his past mental health issues and if Brock chose to get violent again Peter could get hurt. Then Tracy, and future roommate, proceeded to call his parents but got Brocks sister instead who didnt want to ruin her parents vacation with Brocks trouble.
((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). She never went back except to move out.
While awaiting trial, Peter neglects to write about how most of the time Brock spent home in Kentucky , still trying to prove his masculinity and sexuality, met another young girl and got this one pregnant as well. Now there are two children with no child support and a father in prison for sexual assault and battery, Brock will be lucky if hes ever allowed to see his children because now he considered a sex offender for life.
Peter then goes on about respect and admiration of Brock. I think he means he feels guilty and will do anything for His Brock Project not to fail! Did you ever ask yourself Peter where was Brocks father in all this, why he didnt come to court? In my opinion, Peters lucky the Mardis family hasnt sued him for liability and damages on behalf of their grandchildren. Brock had diabetes the first time in prison and now, hell survive just like he did before. Brock needs a real psychiatrist to help him with his underlying problems causing him to become violent and to continue the medical treatment of his diabetes. And in the future choose better friends, friends who do their due diligence, do background checks, who works on mental issues when working with medical issues that can lead to chemical imbalances, who arent delusional or lie or think their mentors
