Brookdale Senior Living Absolutely disgusting place Vero Beach, Florida

I find it absolutely amazing that just because one has a little bit more power than another that they can lie and get away with it. I filed a complaint about not having large or medium sized gloves to wear for almost a week, The small ones ripped everytime I put them on, of course corporate called and ASKED, yes ASKED , did no investigation, They lied about it, now i have proof i found on my facebook from months ago, this company did many terrible, terrible things, you will find reading through my past dates on my wall what some of those things were. Shouldn't all facilities have face masks? Because they sure didn't the first night the building had GI. Guess who got sick? Yep. Me. But, alas Miss lying HWD, said they didn't have gloves for only an hour. fyi I worked on night shift and I swear to god their were no medium gloves for half a week. I got fired/quit because HWD decided after i told her I had swelling problems with my feet and couldn't work doubles because of my broken toe that did not grow back right that she would put me on the schedule 7am-3pm 3pm-11pm then come in the morning and work a 7am-3pm, and then... work 3 morning in a row after that. I told her if i could i would do it but, I physically couldn't. She told me if I didn't come it would be a no call no show and I would be terminated. Oh she had someone to cover for me too, she just choice not to use that option because she is a terrible person. I busted my butt for this company and was treated like this, I was there longer then she was. I also would like to say that i told corporate that they should check the room supplies because MOST of them don't have wipes, diapers, and definitely not gloves. There was a whole month where one of our halls had no diapers at all. I also find it lovely that our christmas bonus money that was supposed to be divided between the employees went to a "party" that most did not show up for. This party had a bounce house and a drawing where you could either get a dollar store picture frame or dvd. DONT FORGET THE WII!!!! the wii that went to an old lady who didn't even know what it was. Oh the people who wern't there got something too!!! A one dollar lottery ticket in their mail box. That made people LIVID! She told us earlier that year that we would be getting a christmas bonus, another lie from miss HWD. Well no wonder she doesn't order gloves though because the night I worked with her she changed a whole hall without changing her gloves once, then pointed it out to me, that was smart. If someone is willing to listen to me I will be glad to tell you more, but frankly all I've encountered are people who really don't give a care about these residents if they aren't even willing to investigate.
