In late February/beginning of March, I purchased a custom diaper from Jamie at Bumblebaby Diapers. After paying, I was told the turn around is expected to be 4 to 6 weeks. In May, the Bumblebaby Diapers had a message stating that she had issues going on but she would still fulfill orders or refund. I hoped for the benefit of the doubt and asked that I still receive the item. I was told I would hear from her on Monday with an update for shipping. 

I did not hear from her on Monday with an update on shipping and after approx 2 1/2 weeks, I questioned again. At this time, she refunded me the cost of the diaper but not the shipping (I had paid extra for tracking to confirm when it would arrive). Jamie informed me that it must have been lost in the shipping process and she'd file a claim. Since I had paid extra for tracking, I asked for the tracking number to look up myself. She never responded to that e-mail. She never responded on the Facebook page, which has since been deleted. Her website is down, e-mails are bouncing, and many are having issues. 

I found out I am not the first individual to have the "lost in shipping" issue.

I had actually not lied about shipping and you actually lied in your blog post about me, you actually cut out part of our Facebook conversation and you also neglected to inform people that you DID receive your refund.

I obviously didn't go into hiding like you claim or else the Facebook conversation (from my personal account and it shows that) would not have happened as I found your post. My Facebook profile was public, so I would have been easily found.
The last orders I did take were the Kahoots orders and it was right after that stuff started happening in my personal life.

 I'm sorry but family comes first and I did everything I could to manage the business while dealing with what we were dealing with and trying to take care of my 2 kids in the process. I posted for weeks that I was closing, offered refunds and explanations. Things get lost, things get delayed. If I was trying to be dishonest I would have NEVER put my personal name up for people to see nor would I have tried to help you out after finding your post on a group.

The fact you are dragging this on when all I am doing is trying to be a stay at home mom and deal with my family is brutal. Bringing my personal name (along with my facebook pictures with my DAUGHTER) is not cool.

You claimed on your blog that you got a refund for the diaper but not shipping and not a mention at all about getting the refund for shipping later on. Now who's being dishonest - you paid $20 on March 12th for $13 a diaper and $7 for shipping (with gets you insurance on small surface NOT tracking btw)

Then on May 16th I did a refund for the $13 (which also clearly states I did file a claim with Canada Post so if they don't locate the package you would be later refunded for shipping)

Then AFTER we had a conversation on Facebook on a group that I found the post for about you blasting me about not telling people I was closing and not refunding you (on the facebook page you made it sound like I didn't refund you at all btw) I actually posted with my personal profile and actually refunded you ANOTHER $20 after you told me that was what you paid, neglecting to tell me that you did infact receive the $13 already, so I only owed you $7.

Dishonesty is what is the problem

It was stated that I was refunded. The problem is lying and telling people things were shipped when in fact they were not. The problem is not taking responsibility. If you couldn't handle orders, you shouldn't have been continuing to take orders.

Im a stay at home mom who got in over her head right while I had major stuff happening with family. I did my best with refunds, even refunded prices paid in full for with coupons sold by another company out of my own pocket. I had given warning before deleting my facebook page (sorry facebook doesnt always post things on everyones feed. If I was trying to scam people, I would not be using my real name sorry.
