Thanks to everyone reporting this scam. I received a call this morning and it was picked up simultaneously by myself and the answer machine. The calling party hung up. Curious, I checked the caller Id and the call was from 305-370-1211. After a reverse number lookup on Verizon's website failed to produce the name of the caller, I used Google to search the web for the number. I got a match which brought me here to Repoffreport.com and all the reports on First Capital and Choice Choice Consumer Credit.
Someone mentioned that your bank account might get charged if you pick up your phone and didn't talk to someone. This got me concerned. I did a little more digging but never saw anymore information on that. However, I did find some more info which might be of interest.
The address reported by several posters for this company turns out to be a mail forwarding service address. Google found many, many companies listed for the 18495 South Dixie Hwy address. Based on the names of the companies listed there, it appears to be a popular place for the types of businesses frequently involved in scams. The website for the mail forwarding service is http://www.mailnetwork.com/offer.html
Meanwhile, I will be monitoring my bank account carefully in case "answering the phone" alone triggers charges to my account.
