I think they solicited me because I just applied for car insurance and a loan. Being a recently arrived citizen (May 2001) I have no credit history and have great diffuculty even getting a cellphone (someone had to guarantee it for me). This means that geico or someone else sold my information to them.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THE REGULATIONS ARE FOR LYING SCAMMERS LIKE THESE! AREN"T WE WORKING CLASS PEOPLE MARGINALIZED ENOUGH WITHOUT HAVING TO FEND OFF THIEVES WHO WANT OUT HARD EARNED MONEY?
