i used to work on the phones and in the warehouse where the catalogs are shipped from, there are abt 4 diff catalogs to shop in. also they can't debt your checking acct unless you give them your acct. number.
so you just need to be responsible and read everything before getting something. nothing is for free. and if you have bad credit and can't get a REAL credit card why not something else to build up your credit. people just need to stop being greedy and READ READ READ READ READ all the information in front of them.

I'm a single mother working 10 hours a day to support my baby and it sounded like a good way to establish some kind of credit. But now that I see this, I'll cut it up along with the card that it came with and put it where it belongs...in the GARBAGE. I thank you sooooo much for the information, it really saved me some money and time.

concerned parent...

so i as her parent called i ask several questions one in concern where did they get her name, the lady on the other end dodged all questions, i ask what was this card for she WOULD NOT say.
so i went to ole faith full my computer and found your site i wasnt to suprized at all the comments about this company do to the response i got from the call,i just wanted my daughter to see how people rip others off & could mess there credit up just over a high priced magazine.
thanks for your site for all the one`s out there that is not for sure.
I am attempting to rebuild my credit. Although I have many unpaid collection accounts and charge offs, I have been trying to get a credit card to make purchases online and for other reasons. I don't have a checking account with a check card, again, because of my credit. I have done some extensive research online for credit cards, both secured and unsecured. I determined that the unsecured cards give you a balance of $200, for example, and charge $192.50 in fees. This leaves you with 7.50 credit and a huge balance to pay down before you even get to use it.
The secured cards have fees... the select few that are with reputable companies that don't rip you in two before giving you credit, but that still charge some fees to activate the account are:
First Premier Bank, Capital One, & Orchard Bank Card Services (Household)...
Some advice for those of you that are wanting to build your credit...
1. Get a secured card.
If you are going to pay companies like CCS that are going to take everything they can, you might as well pay $25 to set up a secured credit card account and add money to it by sending in $25 or more a month. Once you have $200, you have a credit card. First Premier charges $69 activation fee and the rest is yours.
2. Keep the BALANCE (amount owed) on your credit cards UNDER 50%of your CREDIT LIMIT.
have to come back. gotta run

After researching on the internet for half an hour, you are the only place that even mentions this card!
So,after telling him what I have read here he has cut up the card & the letter and it is now in the trash!
Thankfully we will not be charged for anything as we didn't activate it.
Again, Rip-off Report, thank-you soooo very much!

stop them before they stop us
AUTHOR: christina - ()

I was going to activate my card. So I called the # and I was listening to the recording I decided to look the company up on the web. Which is when I came across this! Thank god!
This company is obviouly a major rip~off scam!!!What do we do to stop them? What do we do to bring them to justice? They have to be doing something illegal.Breaking the law in some way. We need to put them out of business and reveal them. Any help in doing so, I'm there! You can contact me at ohhfoxyroxy@msn.com
the respondents. I'm sorry, but if you have to
get $6500 from a credit card that will only allow
you to order from a merchandise magazine that
a company offers. Its really not worth having
regardless if the words "Repair Your Credit"
stick out. I am also a single working Mother
and would love to get some future credit going,
but not this way. I planned to throw it away
from the beginning, but checked out this site
first and was pleased that my first initial action
was to toss the card, after reading the mumbo-
jumbo they throw at you in this letter offer.
Thanks for contributing to the comments. I'm here
to do it as well for the next victim.

I was exicited about the fact that I will have credit because am in college and having a hard time paying for the expeneses. So I said let fo on the internet to find out more about and I find out that they are rip-off.
So am sending my thanks to you. Thank you Thank you Thank you so many thanks to you. Know I can throw it in the trash where it belongs.
How did they do this you ask? They send you a letter much like Visa and Mastercard send, stating that you are qualified for X amount. You send them a check for them to process the card. Not only do they cash your check, they later bill you checking account. This company should stopped.

I hope someone can answer my questions because I dont plan to activate my card unless I get a response from someone, I was glad to get this card and my concern is am I going to be riped off or was this young lady mad because she was not aware of the fact that it was shopping from there catalog? I pray I hear from you soon and May God Bless You.
