We have been receiving the J.D.Marvel Products mail Order catalog since years, and have ordered several products.
The newest catalog came now under *CDN Mail Order Exchange Inc.*
On July 5th 2004 we ordered a *Comfort Air Cushion with Lumbar Support* at $12.95 - for my disabled wife -, plus an *Endless Organizer Wallet* at $19.95, plus the offered free gift *Slip 'N' Flip Book Light*
I attached a cheque (No 53) for $43.71 (including taxes and freight charges) on July 5th 2004.
This Cheque was cashed 8 days later, on July 13th 2004.
It is now October 30th 2004, and we still have not received the above stated items.
We moved on Sept. 30th 2002 from Richmond, BC, here to Burton in the West-Kootenays, BC, and informed them of our move with our next order. And this latest Mail Order brochure arrived here at our new address with the correct address on it. Since there is no telephone number, or e-mail address, nor URL address in the brochure, we can not contact them, other then Mail.
We now feel that we have been ripped off by JD Marvel, AKA as CDN Mail Order Exchange Inc.
We are both on very limited pension and Disability income, and can not afford such a loss.
It is beyond me that neither the Better Business Burerau, nor the federal Government is not taking any action against a dishonest and scrupulous company, ripping off honest customers.
Are we living in a civilized Nation, or in a third world nation?
If we do not receive the three ordered products within 2 weeks, I will take actions to plaster their name and address, along with my story, on thousands of webpages in Canada - and I have all the means to do that - in order to warn the general public of the dishonest - scrupulous ripoff dealings of this company.
