What does it mean...I must send in $20 to get my fortune? No big deal, chump change compaired to the huge fortune I will be getting when I ...(you read a little closer, a little farther into the fine, hard to read printing. Wait a minute!!
Reach over and turn the lamp on so you can read better. This can't be right. I'm going to be rich, it says so right here ...you read it again, a little slower, a little closer, a little more pi**ed off.
Oh s--t, I didn't really call my boss, did I? Crap. Now you start thinking about what you would do if you could just get your hands on these guys for five minutes, hell, just two minutes, damn I wonder what they would look like in the cross hairs in my deer rifle scope.
Coming close to getting ripped off on a scam like this releases a lot of stuff from deep down inside you most folks wish wasn't really in there. You start to understand guys like"disgrunteled ex-post office workers" and that make you start to wonder if maybe you would bennefit from a little professional conseling before you start looking for tall towers and cheap ammunition.
Guys like the ones running NBPI, PO Box 98835, Las Vagas, and CDRA, PO Box 880269, Boca Raton, and some unidentified outlaw outfit, return address 98899, Las Vagas, might not exactly be breaking the law, I don't know, but something really smells rotten about the notice they sent me.
In an official looking envolope, with FORM W-915 (looks a lot like the sort of thing the IRS would send you) printed on the front and a printed postage mark on it with a large eagle on it I received an official looking form (it even says Official on it) with $3,900,622.00 printed in color (to get your attention quickly) on it. To make a long story short, after reading this Official Registration Conformation, with things like pre-approved, In the name of, THE SUM, and one sentence that says " Over $3,700,300.00 in unawarded money has been located and documented in your name, xxxx xxxx, but if you don't submit the appropriate entry paperwork these monies will definitely go to someone else." I was starting to dream about vacations and such. What color new car do I want first? You know what I mean?
Well, after calming down some, and thinking about the part that says to send in $20.00 within 7 days, it dawned on me that I had better turn on the lamp and read the little bitty fine print all sort of jumbled together.
Well crap, all I get for my $20.00 is the opportunity to enter some unidentified sweepstakes where I might, just possibly win more money then I would know what to do with. Where is my deer rifle? Or do you think seeing someone twice a month would help? Twice a week??
